blind bat
My wife has this weird fetish whereby she finds it necessary to beat me every time I use the words 'less' or 'fewer' in a sentence. Edit to say - At least I know the difference between you're, your, their, there and they're. Edited May 3, 2012 by blind bat
CZinSC
It's supposedly...not supposebly. "I couldn't care less"...not "I could care less" the latter means you actually could care less! And when typing: it's should've...not should of

justaute
Good one. Just to be a smart a$$, I usually respond with "how much less?" It's supposedly...not supposebly. "I couldn't care less"...not "I could care less" the latter means you actually could care less! SiG Lady
The number of times I'm seeing misuse of "fewer" and less" on TV commercials (and other televised officialness) is getting downright scary. AAARRRGGHHH!!!!!
dr2e
it's the the misuse of apostrophes and the sight/site thing that get me. I am not discussing just agreeing with previous posts...
gunguru
I "agree" alot. By what I saw, the problem is worse in french as "twitters" and "texters" are using contraction of french and english word to create a whole new un readable language. But yeah, it's frustrating to need a translator to read our own language. I do my best to write as best I can, it's a matter of respect. (But I apologize if a do few language mistake, english is not my first language)

justaute
I'll append another thought here. "since" <> "because" -- the word "since" connotes time reference and should not be used in liue of "because" or "as." Sense and since are not interchangeable.
