My 9mm Pro as well as my .40 S&W and 45 ACP M&Ps do this reliably when inserting a full magazine or in the case of the Pro which is used for Production with ten rounds. It is a feature I very much like

I have four M&Ps - 9mm Pro, 9mm full size, 40 S&W full size and a 45 full size. I prefer the 45 over the others simply because I can hit better with it. 9mm is actually my favorite caliber but for some odd reason I perform better with the 45.

Do you shoot comps when in bad weather?
retarmyaviator replied to Sandbagger123's topic in Miscellaneous BEginners
I do this for fun and if I am getting rained on I am not having fun. To me this is a hobby, not a life style. -
From the looks of things they are not in a hurry to reissue passwords. No reply to several attempts to reset mine. My membership expires in January so I am sure I will hear from them when they want money.

I have been using that temporary pin number for about four years.

Accountant resigns over $144,000 in missing receipts

I feel the same way and I seriously doubt I will renew my membership in January when it comes due. -
Only two kinds of shooters in this - those that have DQ'ed and those that will.

The instructor was either over confident or complacent and it cost him. Uzis ride up not down, he had his hand in the wrong place. When my nephew was younger I had no problem letting him shoot one of my Thompsons but the difference was I was always behind him and never let my hand leave the gun. The instructor in the AZ case should have never given the girl full control of the firearm. Even long time competitive shooters when I share a full auto with them I watch them like a hawk because the full auto world is something completely different to what they are used to.

Am I the only one that wants Production left alone?
retarmyaviator replied to Lee G's topic in USPSA/IPSC Rules
USPSA always retains the option - If ain't broke keep fixing it until it is. -
If it goes through the reloader it is good to go as far as I am concerned, never had a problem with any of it.
-
I like it, people are quick to give it back when they pick it up between shooters on a stage.
-
I respectfully disagree. If you want it changed bad enough all you need to do is run for USPSA president and win.

RO Suspected of Cheating in USPSA Matches

Why can't we be both? Civility isn't that hard..... It is rapidly becoming a lost art. -
The problem you will run into with a full time CEO will be similar to that of a well known national firearms organization, the CEO will cement himself in that position for life leaving the elected president nothing more than a figure head. The current system within USPSA is not broken, don't keep fixing it until it is.
-
Pretty sure USPSA would not miss your club either, far to many others that support the organization to worry about just one.

Going through a FFL gives no protection from receiving a stolen firearm. No serial numbers or brand name are given during a NICS check, only the information of the buyer and type firearm - long gun, handgun or other are the only allowed descriptions.

Number of Dillon problems ?
retarmyaviator replied to Hammer1's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
The majority of the problems reported on this forum do not indicate so much of a problem with the machines themselves but more of a problem of people either not reading the instructions or failing to comprehend what they have read. . -
Use a two piece belt such as CR Speed and the setup will usually hit the 2 1/4 inch mark, same set up with a one piece belt and it usually will be within the 2 inch rule with no modifications to the holster.

Shipping Handguns
retarmyaviator replied to chaosshooter00's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
We've had too many lost/damaged/massively delayed shipments with small packages shipped via USPS for us to trust them with guns. We do a lot of small package shipments via USPS. It might be our area, but it is very frustrating and the support is horrible when things go missing. We had a package deliver 10 months after shipment last year. In over 18 years we have yet to have a firearm damaged by USPS. Those shipments include anything from $400 pistols to $45,000 belt feds. With registered priority mail each time the package changes hands it has to be signed for, little chance of it being lost with that method. -
Shipping Handguns

I was actually on the phone with UPS when I read this and was wishing he could see it. The new pricing is between 65.00 and 80.00 and it has to go overnight...PERIOD. According to UPS associate, there is no way anyone is sending handguns out UPS ground. What say ye? UPS instituted this rule in 1999 because they could not control their employee thefts of firearms principally out of their Alexandria, VA facilities which at the time serviced InterArms. As a dealer we usually ship handguns registered US Mail and have yet to have had a problem doing so. Even when it comes to machine guns we ship registered priority mail which is also the method most often used in diamond shipments.
