ok, got a neighbor that borrows every tool i own. got to thinking about what the most used one is for me. have to say it's gotta be a screwgun (i.e. cordless drill). thoughts?

I would have to agree. It is definitely the cordless drill. Every thing from drilling new holes in the bench to mount a press to using it with the Lee hand trimmer to trim 50 BMG.

Right now it's a toss-up between the cordless drill and the cordless impact driver...just can't seem to use one without the other.

In order....Mill lathe drill mig grinder....I dont use a dremel much..

But that order changes with the jobs I am doing

I suspect it is the drill for almost all of us given the number of things requiring screws. Now my favorite tool in the garage is my Bosch sliding compound miter saw. My second favorite hobby is woodworking and it is the most used major tool that I own.

Cordless Milwaukee Hammer Drill. (Also works a regular drill and screwgun.) That thing rocks. Hanging pics on masonary walls... with a regular drill and concrete bit, I'd have to stand on thing forever to drill a hole. With the hammer drill - in like a second it burns the hole through.
