  1. You guys shot great and your son did awesome! Was glad to have a great squad including you guys.
  2. I tried extra hard not to hit the "facade". Thanks for the comic relief. It was a treat towards the end of a long day.
  3. Bayou Bullets are not taking orders at the moment. They told me possibly in another 4-6 weeks orders will reopen.
  4. We have a production shooter with the same issue. Factory 10 rounders are not feeding properly. He really misses his MecGar mags.
  5. I had a similar problem and the hammer strut was dragging on the mainspring housing. Might want to check that too.
  6. 4.6 of WST 185 Precision Moly 1.185 .420 crimp = 171 PF 4.8 of WST 185 Precision Moly 1.185 .420 crimp = 175 PF Both using Winchester brass and WSP primers. 70 degrees, indoors using ProChrono Digital with the Indoor Lighting System, 20 shot strings STI Edge 5"
  7. That's a good looking pistol, who built it? Looks like a Bedell
  8. I did this method and it solved the problem for me. Was nudging the safety ever so slightly with my weak hand and it would pop up on occasion in between shots, which is very frustrating.
  9. What oal and charge are you using with the WST? Was thinking of ordering some of the SNS 200's.
  10. I haven't had any issues with the 11 coil grams in limited or limited ten. I can get 20 reloadable without trimming any spring off too. All stock tubes that I 'tuned' myself.
  11. Just got my notification and ordered mine too! Only 19 more left in stock.
  12. Speed Shooters International appears to have them in stock. http://www.speedshooter.com/product_detail.cfm?id=EGW6&n=EGW-1911-Hard-Sear
  13. The "Cliploader" loads your magazines. Weird, eh?
  14. Why not just get one of each to try? Those are all very popular pouches and whichever ones you don't like could easily be resold. Myself, I use and like the CR's. Never tried the RM or Racers though. I have tried the DAA Competition mag pouches and did not like them. I do use a RM holster and love it. I would expect the mag pouches to be of the same excellent quality as the holster. The customer service from Saul is above and beyond excellent also.
  15. In the directions it says if you are using waxy bullets to fill the Cliploader and give it a small shot of Remington Teflon Spray Lube. I have been doing this and it really loads slick. Cliploader INSTR SHT 2012.pdf
  16. and also makes weight.
  17. Pop rivets can be drilled out. Roll pins can be removed from collapsible stocks, silver solder can be melted out of the pin holding muzzle attachments on, and I'm sure all the limited & open guys were using PRE '93 mags before all this nonsense. M&P 15/22 mags were all 25 rounders. The ten rounders for sale in NY were limited by guess what? A pin to stop the follower. For a game gun with mags that aren't going to be carried, a rivet is a pretty permanent modification that can not be "readily" restored. Better make darn sure you can NOT fit 11 in there though. Your best bet is to ask whoever is in charge of the matches at whatever range you'll be shooting at and see how they are handling the situation. If they're smart, they already have talked to there assemblyman and/or lawyer about how to proceed. 18. On the governers FAQ page under magazines it says high cAps can be permanently modified to hold ten. http://www.governor.ny.gov/2013/gun-reforms-faq
  19. I almost feel like something is wrong with my belt. I put four on and used the wedges with no problems.
  20. This is my biggest problem with the (old style) aluminum grip as well. I like the way it feels in the hand but it has resulted in quite a number of botched reloads. I foresee a lot of dry firing with reloads in my near future. That's for sure.
