  1. Just put one on my Edge and to be honest if you like the grip you have now, I'd stay with that. The mag can get jammed crooked in the grip and get stuck on rare occasions if your reload is a little off where on the plastic grip it would right itself and go all the way in anyhow. Had to do some minor blending of the new metal main spring housing inside and the sear spring tab stuck through the grip a little too far. Feels a lot like the grip I replaced. I was looking to get a little more weight in my hands and other than that, it feels like the plastic grip I took off, single undercut with skater tape.
  2. Browning Buckmark -Tacsol 4" threaded barrel -Tacsol grips -Allchin C-more mount -Aluminum C-more with 6 moa dot -Ops, Inc. muzzle break -"Heggis" flip Runs like a top.
  3. I ordered one directly from Saul this past summer in purple for my STI. Wanted one no one else had. Guess there are 2 now. Love this holster.
  4. I can't see how the aluminium grip could be that much different. i would give the Dawson's a try. It is only a few buck so you don't have much to loose. Actually in the Dawson vendor forum they said that one was in the works for the aluminum grip. Give them a call and see if they are available yet. The size of the aluminum grip is different than the plastic grip. It may not line up properly. I ended up making a pattern out of a cut up manilla folder and using the 3m tread tape and it came out awesome.

  6. Dawson isn't tuning mags anymore. Tried to get some about two weeks ago. Maybe with the purchase of a gun, but not separately anymore.

  10. Thanks for all your replies. I knew you were all a nice bunch!
  11. Never thought of that. During the fabulous winter months there is a bunch of indoor shooting. That wider notch really might come in handy.
  12. Been lurking in the shadows for quite a while. Decided to say hello. Just joined the USPSA, picked up an XD-40 Tac and think I'm gonna try some Production Division this spring. Originally thought I wanted to start out in Limited but I think Production is a much better place for me to start. Took me while to come to that conclusion but I think it will work out good.
  13. Yeah I love the .100" fronts on my other guns. Would you happen to know the dimensions of the notch?
  14. Just picked up an XD 40 Tac to try out some production with and was looking at some replacement sights. Was wondering if anyone is running the Dawson wide notch rears and how's the sight picture compared to the standard Dawson fixed or the Heinie sights.
