Looks for Range (1/11)

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

Why? CZ copied the stock 3 design on this one. The S3 is heavier. The S3 is a better production gun. I like the Shadow 2 (I have a shadow target now), but I'm going with a S3 this season. Why Stock3, is the Stock2 with the bull barrel not better?
  2. hi there, yes I did, last night only to be honest....I followed the less is more approach and first tried rob315's approach thinking I would then follow your route, however it works perfect without any further changes!! Thanks for the advice guys....spending today refitting my PT grip and polishing everything that needs to be polished for smooth fit and functioning.....
  3. so a new insert from DAA specifically for the PT is first prize for a lot of us....lets hope Saul makes it hapen!
  4. That would be great, I did drop Saul an email yesterday and I am awaiting his response.....
  5. South Africa....really got to know the time zone diff when I was at WSXVII in Florida and trying to communicate with home....
  6. Thanks, please do post the pics of where to work on it anyway as the inserts are not readily available in our country so will have to work with what I have....will pick up your response in the am as you are a good couple of hours behind us and its almost bed time for us LOL
  7. Which magnetic insert did you use as I see two options on the DAA website i.e "STI or SVI plastic" or the "SV aluminium or steel"
  8. Would really appreciatte aome pics just to make sure I go to work on the right parts....
  9. So I have 2 off the old, pre magnetic, racemasters I use....one for my Shadow and one for my STI Edge. They both work really well however I have recently upgraded my Edge's plastic grip to a SS Phoenix Trinity grip and my racemaster is no longer a happy camper! When drawing very slowly all is well but when doing a fast draw it seems like the insert does not release right at the top most position. When the gun is in this position, at the top, all that is needed is to slightly release (doesnt even have to move down) and the insert releases. This obviously will not work for IPSC so Im hopping to hear from those that have gone the PT grip route that use the racemaster.
  10. Thanks drewbeck, as for PT I have no doubt that its the right choice, Tiffany has been a star in all our correspondence and has gone out of her way to assist....like you STI, looks really nice, must be nice and flat shooting considering its looks like a nice and heavy ss magwell you have in addition the the new frame!
  11. Thanks, thats is what I was concerned about, aggressive seems to be just a bit to much....need to ask PT if they are able to rough blast a textured frame for me....
  12. Im about to place my order for a PT stainless grip for my STI Edge 40S&W, but as Im not able to touch and feel I need to rely on those of you in the know.... What texture to choose, normal textured of aggressive? I know stainless can sometime be quite slippery but then I also have felt an SV frame (very scarce in our neck of the woods) in aggressive and it was quite harsh to me. Is the PT aggressive as rough as the SV? For those of you that have coated (numenor or the likes) a textured grip, does this improve the grip of the textured or not really?
  13. Thanks, thought I had missed something for a moment...recon I will go for the std 2011 SVI bow as I see the triglide combo is out of stock anyway......
  14. Ok, so Im a bit confused, the SVI trigger bow you bought seems to be the 1911 model, I would have thought for the PT frame I would need the hicap model ie. http://www.speedshooter.com/product_detail.cfm?id=SVITT&n=SVI-Trigger-Base-Titanium-Bow-Hi-Cap--Silver if I was not wanting to go triglide?
