  1. Are you sure the slide stop is going through the link upon assembly?
  2. Here's one for a Bomar cut, however, I believe Para uses an LPA cut. http://www.egwguns.com/index.php?p=product&id=188
  3. Taran followers are the old Bolens and they were not interchangeable with Grams. They have been redesigned since the original Bolens follower and look surpisingly similar to the Grams followers now. If you wanted the convenience of being able to buy each piece (follower/spring) separately, I'd look into switching to the Taran guts.
  4. Will these work? http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/products/magblock-kits/pistols-3/cz-75/cz-75-magblock-10-17-9mm.html
  5. It's actually more like 15 cents.
  6. Hornady actually makes some bullet tubes all ready to go. http://www.hornady.com/store/Lock-N-Load-9mm-Bullet-Tube
  7. Mine required very minor fitting. Some of the edges and corners on the grip needed to be rounded or relieved for the grip to go fully onto the frame. The Dawson Ice magwell also needed some minor massaging to fit. And the edge of the mag release needs to be contoured to the grip. If you use a metal mainspring housing, it will also need some fitting. I have an older STI frame this went on.
  8. Are you going to be shooting at the Tonawanda Sportsmens Club with the WNYPPL? Great bunch of guys there. A group of us make the trek over from the Rochester clubs on occasion for their monthly matches. Have fun and stay safe.
  9. Don't be fooled, the Gen 2 STI's are just as bad as the 1st gen. Cracked 2 and broke the sear spring retainer on a 3rd one. All covered under warranty but they still have a cracking problem.I now have a PT grip that has had no issues and couldn't be happier. PT aluminum or steel? I have the aluminum with the aggressive texture. If I were to get another, it would be the stainless / aggressive. One of the guys I shoot with has the stainless and it is awesome.
  10. Don't be fooled, the Gen 2 STI's are just as bad as the 1st gen. Cracked 2 and broke the sear spring retainer on a 3rd one. All covered under warranty but they still have a cracking problem. I now have a PT grip that has had no issues and couldn't be happier.
  11. Check over at the CZ Forum also. There's quite a bit of 7625 load data there. http://www.czfirearms.us
  12. 7625 is a very versatile powder and works really well for 9mm minor loads. Meters really well and has always produced low SD numbers over the chrono. Also works well for 38 Super/comp open loads.
  13. 135gr Bayou with 3.5 grains of N320 or 4.0 grains of 7625 at 1.120" both get me approx 132 pf in my CZ SP-01 Shadow.
  14. I'm crimping at .376. About the only group shooting I do is when I'm chronoing my loads or checking my sight adjustment. I put one of those fluorescent orange 3" stickers on a blank piece of cardboard. I only have acces to a 50 foot indoor range to do all my load development. 16-2/3 yards.
  15. How much crimp are you running? Just a thought but maybe you're swaging the bullet a little smaller with an excessive crimp causing the poor accuracy. I've loaded over two cases of the Bayou 135's with multiple powders for my Shadow and they'll all shoot into One of those 3" circle target stickers at 50'. I've used WST, 7625 and am currently using N320.
  16. I can get 29 reloadable in my 170. Old style SV mag with Taran new style spring and follower and 3mm Taran pad. 30 will fit but it won't seat. I get 24 in my 140. STI mag tube with Grams guts and a 7mm pad. I usually load and make ready with this mag so it leaves 23 for the reload though. This is for 38 Supercomp.
  17. Why bother? Seems like a waste of time.Couple of reasons I tumble after loading to get the lube off. One, even if you use OS sparingly there is enough tackiness to allow flakes of powder or media to stick to the round and cause problems gauging. Two, the gauge stays cleaner longer if you tumble causing less false failures. Three, the rounds will stay shiny like new if you remove the lube. Otherwise they turn dull and ugly. None of these problems are show stoppers but to some of us it matters. Ahh. Ok. I use One shot and have never worried about removing it after loading for any of the guns I load for. Never had an issue and was wondering if I'm missing out on something. Lol.
  18. Max used to run a Bedell comp with the last port removed. He's now running Bedell's new design comp.
  19. I've been running the 125gr in my 38SC open gun.
  20. 3.5 grains of N320 with a Bayou 135gr at 1.120 was right around 132 pf out of my shadow.
  21. I just noticed they started making a new INCOG called the Eclipse. Looks like everything I wanted the original to be. Might have to reconsider switching back to one of these.
  22. If it's even minutely off the pin won't go through. The plastic is way more forgiving. I've had to fit 2 metal mainspring housings to PT grips. An EGW and a Dawson one. A couple minutes with a round file and you're good to go. The Dawson one needed more fitting other than the pin hole also.
  23. Phlster Holsters. Haven't touched my Incog since I got it for my G19.
