  1. Will also streak really fast drop turners. Must say, the coating stays on well though.
  2. Shooters Connection carries Grams springs. Never had an issue getting replacements.
  3. HS6 and CFE Pistol are in the neighborhood HS-6 is a little slower. Takes me 1 full grain more to match the same velocity as my 7625 load. Same gun, bullet and brass. I believe Autocomp might be close to 7625 also from what I have heard.
  4. Top 7 at least. Haha. Exactly, pick a gun, pick a load and then go practice and learn it.
  5. LolActually there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which gun Max uses at any given match. I actually think he throws the one with the trubore barrel in the mix still. As for barrel holes, being fairly new to the open game, I've only shot my own which has no barrel holes. Based off what I've seen, however, is that it probably only matters if you're at the top levels of this sport and can feel or take advantage of little changes to the gun. The average guy is going to go out and finish somewhere behind the top guys anyhow. I would just leave it up to the builders recommendation at that point. EG does just fine with his V12 or V8 Tanfo. Take Lesgar and Max for example, two different builders with two different philosophies on barrel holes, yet they are both always at the top of the results.
  6. He doesn't run the trubore barrel anymore either. He's been using a Bedell comp with the last port chopped off and now he's running one of Bedell's new comps. With two barrel holes.
  7. Production rules tell you what is allowed. If it's not listed, then it's not allowed. Appendix D4, 21 covers that. Unless it was used on an OFM model that is on the approved Production handgun list.
  8. Appendix D4, 21.4 allows grip sleeves which used to not be allowed.
  9. Slide lightening looks pretty similar also.
  10. Off of Brazos website http://www.brazoscustom.com/Home.htm Under the Magazine Articles section.
  11. Powder Valley just had 231 in stock this past Friday also.
  12. Can't run a conversion barrel in production. You'd have to load .40 minor with a G35.
  13. I have 8 140 STI mags for my limited gun and every one fits the gauge with room to spare with the 4mm Taran pads. No filing or anything was needed. In my experience, they fit the gauge a lot better than the Dawson Snl's.
  14. Where are you finding a Bayou 147 RN? All I've seen from them is a 147 FP.
  15. Yeah, I'm actually replacing the competition version with the pro version.
  16. Appears dates are the same. Just the location has yet to be named.
  17. These are with the round nose version out of an a CZ SP-01 Shadow.
  18. I'm using 125gr RN Blue Bullets @ 1.255 for 38 supercomp which I believe is the same length for a jacketed bullet also. With HS-6 or 7625 for powder. No tumbling at all.
  19. Was going to ask, thought this was gone? What are the non vv powder choices for supercomputer? I bought 32# of 7625 when the very last shipment of it ever came in locally so I'm set for a bit. I have also developed a backup load with HS-6 which I unfortunately think I like better. Such is life I guess. Some of the others are running AutoComp with great success also.
  20. Still 1#'ers. Insane price though.https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/18892 Pretty typical of Vihtavuori in my opinion, Powder Valley may sell VV as cheap as anyone I bet and they are $32/lb when they have it. That's true. I still don't think it's worth it, I'll take my 7625 at $20 per pound over that. You're loading with obsolescence.
