    Grips

How well do the plastic grips hold up? I really miss the stippled grip on my 2011. None of the grips I've tried yet have really jazzed up my skirt.
  3. Just picked up a 4# jug on Christmas eve at my local shop.
  4. Out of the 9 mags I have, 7 are 20 reloadable and the other 2 are 19 reloadable but I can seat them and start with 20 in the mag. The 7 can hold 21 but they absolutely will not seat. All are STI tubes with Grams guts and Bolen/TTI pads. I've tried Dawson SNL and capacity is the same. They all fit the gauge with the Bolen/TTI pads but the SNL pads would not without a lot of massaging.

    CZ Accu-Shadow

Judging from this facebook post, it looks like it won't be too much longer? Untitled.tiff
  6. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the five-step draw, either. If you think about it, the five-step draw turns into the natural index IF it's practiced enough. But I see a lot of guys go thru each of the five steps and it just wastes time--either in competition or in real life.
  7. If you are in the US, I have a spare Dawson Ice if you wanted to try one out first. I can ship it to you, for no charge, if you promise to ship it back when you are done testing.

  9. 4.6gr at 1.185 with a 185gr Precision black bullet gets me 173pf & 4.2gr with a 200gr Bayou Bullet at 1.190 just netted me 176pf at the Area 7 chrono. These are out of an STI Edge.
  10. I load a Bayou 200 gr with WST also. 4.25 gr WST at 1.190 Makes about 173 power factor on average out of my STI Edge.
  11. What kind of lengths are you running?
  12. Here's a test on some AR500 plates.
  13. Shooters Connection has some. http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/STI-Magazine-126mm-Carry-10-Round-P795.aspx
  14. Are there any pictures of the 'Chainsaw' textured grips?
  15. Where exactly were the old ones cracking? I have about 2500 on my aluminum grip and I just looked at it and didn't notice any visible cracking. I did have one that had the little piece between the slot for the sear spring and where the mainspring housing sits in the magwell break off. It is really thin there though. STI warrantied it lickity split.
  16. Received mine in the mail today! Thanks again for a great match!!
  17. Running WST 4.3 grs. under 200 grain BBI at 1.190" Averaging about 172 pf. Outdoors they are not too bad, indoors is when I really notice it a lot. Especially when engaging multiple targets from one location.
  18. What are the BBI's sized to? I had a chambering issue with some that were sized to .401 and I sent them back and had them resized to .400 and that solved the issue. They just smoke like a freight train.
  19. Shooters Connection is showing one in stock.
  20. Same experiences here. Precision and BBI bullets with no problems. About to try some Bayou's now too.
  21. There was someone taking pictures and he mentioned a website where they can be seen. Does anyone know the web address? It was something like 2 alpha or double alpha.
