  1. Another killer episode last night. Predicatble plot twists though, or have I been watching too long. Jack should have beat the crap out of Doyle when made him get out of the truck. Will he save Audrey next week? FM
  2. We should have this match tore down before the computer can spit out the results! FM
  3. Extra, extra nice JesseJ! We need a birds eye image! FM
  4. About 5 years ago we'd remove the steel targets from a stage, add some more paper and shoot rifles after the pistol match. The work to fun ratio was fantastic! Back then we only shoot 2 stages of pistol, now we're up to 4 and everyone wants to leave by time we finish pistol. And we are having more 3 gun matches. FM
  5. To say it's a sad day would be a gross understatment. Everyone be sure to vote in Smitty's link and check the results. More than 2 to 1 our way. Right now. FM
  6. When I was young tooth paste came in lead tubes. Any chemical that ends with ene is bad news from what I understand. Polymer and teflon should be OK outdoors? FM
  7. Carpet burns pretty good on it's own, add a little powder and it will burn REAL good. Getting rid of the carpet would help eliminate static electricity too. FM
  8. Down here I-29 is down to the rebar and 45 miles north of here they are building a pedestrian bridge across the Missouri River for 2-3 million$. FM
  9. You have to use their part kit. For example if you had your heart set on a different grip safety your out of luck same with triggers too. But the parts in the parts kit are fine. Magazine capacity may be an issue too but search the forum, TT had tons of good mag info. I think a builder can keep tolerances a little tighter with an S_I. I need a new frame for my Open Caspain and want to turn my old frame into a Limited because of scope mounting issues. Shoot both frames if possible; they do feel different! FM
  10. YES!! That was a great moment! I thought last night was a damn good episode. Yes, it was the best this year. Jack took care of business, the ride underneath the drive shaft of the trash truck was a little weird. But carnage was done and that's what I like! Doyle is Disposable. Audrey is not! I have to keep reminding myself this IS a soap opera! FM
  11. Jack didn't use the tea-cup grip last night. Audrey is still alive! FM
  12. The last time I remember going Honkeytonking was in Alice, Texas about December 1996. Good times but not as good as I was hoping! FM
  13. You need to be up here! Record low of maybe 17 tonight. And the wind is worse than the temperatures! No kidding. FM
  14. Once or twice a year empty your wallet and photo copy everything; don't forget to flip everything over and copy the back side. FM
  15. I have always known Lucas as the Prince Of Darkness! George, once again you are right! I forgot the Prince part. FM
  16. Its a GMC, probaly wont start.----------Larry Right; it needs a fuel pump! But I must brag; I have been ford free for 27 years! FM
  17. I called a retailer today called "Headsetters" today which specializes in sell in head sets on a trial basis until you find the one you like or works to your satisfaction. I told them I was using Jawbone and Blackberry. They said that was the problem with the noise and that there are very few headsets that work with Blackberry. Jabra has some of the few models that do. I am sending the Jawbone back and cut my loses. Or if some wants to buy it from me I have $134.98 in it. It was just used long enough to test it, 45 minutes max. The bottom line is to find one that works with your phones technology. FM
  18. My big thing was not wanting to change rigs between Limited and Open and the Ribas will let me do that. That would be a huge time and money saver. If I wanted to build a Caspian Hi-Cap Limited it would require buying another holster because it would be a PIA to change the length of the holster every time you wanted to switch blasters. If I were flush with time and money I'd try it. FM
  19. The only people that make money work at the mint; the rest of us have to earn it. I went to Reno in '95; it was the best vacation I have ever experienced. My figures were $20 per stage on the match fees alone; you wouldn't pay that at home to shoot the same stage but I would go to MT in a heart beat if everything was situated to my satisfaction. Everyone should go to at least one National, if they can swing it. But maybe I'd rather go to Area 2; it might be a bigger bang for the $.
  20. No explosion but one hell of a combustion! FM
  21. **thread drift** You must haven't met mr lidar yet.... maybe someday... I think I did and it scared the shjt out of me; I was going slow. And if you're the only car on the road you'd just as well drive the speed limit even with a detector. FM
  22. Escort radar detectors have saved me a ton of loot and time. FM
  23. Lucas Electrics? The people that invented darkness! FM
