  1. Showed a property today (New Years Eve) this afternoon that my buyers fell in love with. Hunted down the sellers agent and disclosures in a snow storm. Wrote an offer, obtained signatures, and finally left the office at 8:00P.M. Traffic in the lane of the extra mile is empty. FM
  2. I had it for a year and didn't re-up because I don't have time to practice. If you do the drills it will improve your shooting; they are GOOD drills! What ever will make you dry fire or practice is a good thing. There are many messengers; you just have to find the one that works for you. FM
  3. Will you need to wash any thing like a vehicle? That is the reason I asked if you were to be connected to a sewer or septic. When I do mine I am going to have a pit (minor slope in the concrete) to gather the water. I don't know if it needs to go to my septic or if I can treat it as I would gray water. Or just let it evaporate and clean it out by hand as needed. Are you putting up a pole building or are you stick building? If a 30X40 turns out to not be long enough it's easy to take the gable end off and add on. (The end without an over head door.) So you may not want to install a lot benches, cabinets and such on the far end. I think I want a 48X30X10 on 8' centers. That will give me enough room for a real office if I get my brokers license and a real tool crib and garage. FM
  4. The walls need to be at least 10' tall. An 8' over head door will need a 2' header. I wouldn't want a door under 8'. Are you going 8' centers? FM
  5. Steel buildings need overhangs or they look real cheap. You also might want an awnening over the front door and larger windows Lots of outlets with a big amp breaker box Security system. FM Edited because I though you were going to live in it. FM
  6. The weather forecast sounds like your in for another one this week. Hopefully we get it in the form of rain as we need it bad. FM
  7. The USDA Food Safety Inspection Service requires poultry to be cooked to 161.25 degrees internal (breast). Beef is the only safe meat to eat partially cooked due to it being more "sterile". Beef is fully cooked at 145 degrees and pork is actually a little less (144?). Some friends of mine inject ranch dressing into a turkey before they deep fat fry it; they say it's awesome. I have not had a chance to sample one. Stay safe, keep your powder dry and don't eat partially cooked poultry! FM
  8. I'm the "On Call" agent at our office this weekend/Christmas, probably New Years too! Real Estate is an awesome Christmas gift! FM
  9. I used 2X4's, 3/4 plywood and Simpson brackets. Used the ply wood for the bench top and a shelf the size of the top with 3/4 plywood too. It's strong enough to store thousand of bullets and that keeps the whole thing stable. Built two of them 2' wide, 8' long in a couple of hours. There are tons of ideas in the Gallery. FM
  10. PS, I'll be packing more clothes to and from work in the future.... Roger That Sean! When travel/weather gets real dangerous I try to carry enough of the right clothes to walk out of an intense situation. Up to and including a full faced motorcycle helmet. FM
  11. If you want a true target pistol, look into the High Standard line. I know High Standard doesn't make them any more, someone else does and I don't know if the quality is still there or not. They came with good triggers, fantastic iron sites and great ergonomics. They may not feel like a 1911 but I never thought the Ruger 10/45 felt like one either. FM I got curious and found this link. FM http://www.highstandard.com/index.html
  12. Been there and done that. Cr Speed is the way to go as of right now for a Caspian. Anyone want to buy the ugliest Ghost holster ever seen with human eyes? FM
  13. Her hamming it up made it was a kill! I think she watched cnet reviews to make it a parody! FM
  14. Airsoft SVI from Manny? Regardless of the weather he could enjoy inside the house Christmas Day. I know if I were 11 again, I would really dig it. (No broken windows either!?) FM

Damn; Stingermen! I'd be checking out that Julie chick! Your age too! FM
  16. Try alcohol (not Booze) on a disk you don't care about. I don't know what it will do to the disk but it should remove the ink. I personally believe it won't hurt the disk but don't know for sure. FM
  17. I told you guys! Extra Special! FM
  18. Don't wouldn't worry about it. It should probably be done on a vertical mill. At least it would look nice! FM
  19. That reminds me of one of my favorite jokes from back in the day. Three retired farmers are riding around in a pick-up checking crops. The driver says "It sure is windy today". The retired farmer in the middle says "Wednesday? I thought it was Thursday"? The retired farmer on the passenger side says "Me too, lets stop and get some beer"! Sorry my grammar sucks. FM
  20. Glad I had the opportunity to read this. Now do what Mike said and delete this thread. FM
  21. She's a cutie... Yes; extra special. Good job! FM
  22. Here are a couple of my PSS or L-10. It used to be an Open 45 back in the day! FM
  23. It might make the "Distructive Device" Division. FM
