  1. Her release diverted National Media Attenion from current events. FM
  2. Today Paul Harvey said 6,000 were lost on 06.06.1944. I would assume most of them on the beach and the rest in other operations such as the glider crashes and such. FM
  3. It did catch my eye today Stingerman, but forgot to ask. Get a business plan and get to the bank! FM
  4. I did the same thing and didn't farm either. I have very mixed feelings about that. FM
  5. And after that visit and my new glasses, will the dot be a dot again? Surely someone here has shot open before and after distance correction eyeglasses. I have and don't know what to tell you; the dot never changed for me after Lasik. Everything else did though. Have you tried tuning the dot brightness down a notch? I have to turn mine down one click and it gets rid of any imperfections. My only other suggestion would be to go to an eye DR versus an ophthalmologist. Keep us up to date! FM
  6. I had Lasik and I am 50 so I can't read without reading glasses. So iron sites are a fuzzy mess without visionc correction but the dot on my C-MORE is perfectly round without correction. I never did understand that. FM
  7. My boss lets me spend way to much time on this Forum! FM
  8. Thanks to everyone that worked their tails off to make this match happen! Good Stuff! FM
  9. If so Phillip Bauer still has the device in his coat pocket. Jack should have made sure. FM
  10. I know Osceola is further than you want to travel but you will get to shoot a lot of stages in one trip. The Iowa Sectional is this weekend. PM me and I will give you some details in the AM if you want to go. FM
  11. I have an 8500 and my wealthier friends have the V1. They swear by the V1. My 8500 has saved me a ton of money; they are good for more than speeding. (I.E., if your detector goes off don't do a California stop at a stop sign.) With the gas prices being what they are I drive less than the speed limit now and don't need one unless it's a crucial situation. And yes Eric W is right, you can't be the Lead car and expect to not get caught speeding with a radar detector. If you buy the Escort get the warranty. I did and I had to use it (the warranty), and it hasn't missed a beat since then. Don't buy the Escort that runs on batteries versus the cigarette lighter. Get the 8500. If you are bucks up get the Valentine; it will let you know where Smokey is. Study the "Right to Travel" on the WWW; speeding tickets, license plates and all that garbage. It's all about the money. And that is all it is. FM
  12. Yes. No one in their right mind would plant corn in 30" rows! FM
  13. 9, and this time of year I was probably on a tractor of some kind! Good Times! FM
  14. Right now it doesn't look like I can go. I have to take a exam in MO. FM
  15. Try cheaperthandirt they had some Peltors the last time I looked. I do not remember the model number they had. FM
  16. NICE! You have worked long and hard towards this goal. Wallow in it for a while and get back to work! Never lift! FM
  17. Just stay with the Serendipity; fewer fastners to come loose. Not much fun am I? FM
  18. An auto off feature would be nice in the Pro-Ears. And batteries you can buy at a gas station would be great; I'll check out Peltor's next! FM
  19. I had to do a lot of filing to fit a JP in my Bushmaster. I think I had to get into the softer steel to make it work. FM
  20. Holy Cow that's close to Zumbro Falls! Which is close to Millville. Sectional August 11, steaks at Michael's Saturday night, National Motocross at Millville on Sunday. I know; I am very selfish and narrow minded! FM
  21. Oh Yeah! She has the extra good collar bones too! (And a face to literally die for, ) Here is the wall paper for my notebook. It's from the shocking scene where she breaks her cover at CTU.
