  1. Drum Roll please! It's OK. I have never had one before so I can't compare it to anything else. It paired pretty easy with Blackberry, and I had to learn what you couldn't do today. Like forget to take your phone with you, walk out of the office to your car come back into the office and expect to still have the headset/phone activated. Like I said this is my very first Bluetooth head set. It is comfortable, the Logitech 645 is probably more comfortable because you can run without the ear loop. The buttons are difficult to manipulate; because of the small size I thought everything would be very delicate with minimal force needed to press the keys. It takes a lot more force than I had anticipated; that's probably a good thing, tougher springs and such. The first time I tried it was this afternoon; I had my broker call me for a test and she said it sounded fine, almost land line quality. I did not get to try the noise cancellation feature. As far as recommending this product I would say it's way over priced. The fancy packaging that you will NEVER use again probably cost more than the device wholesale. IF you could buy this in a brown corrugated box filled with Styrofoam peanuts for $60, minimal shipping, then I would recommend trying it. If I were them I'd keep doing what they are doing; they know sexy, dramatic packaging sells. I'm just jealous! FM
  2. Got it tonight, it's on the charger right now. Right now here is what I don't like; 1-Dedicated battery. 2-expensive packaging; it comes in a real fancy case to make you feel like you are buying something extra special. They could knock a good $30-$50 bucks off and ship it in a corrugated box; I wouldn't care. You will never use it again; it's just to look cool in a boutique type store. 3-Shipping cost; $14.95 I'll try it tomorrow; if it works like they advertise all of the above is forgiven! FM
  3. Where was the Sheriff of that county? And what was he doing? I am going to stop, take a deep breath and try to relax. FM
  4. Sorry for reading this thread in reverse but DMH's ratios have to be real close to mine. I just didn't expect to split loading them before becoming once fired brass. I case gage all of my ammo and the split ones passed without me seeing the split. They don't feed in real life very well however! FM
  5. My last batch (2006) had some split in the press before first firing. THEY do not feed feed very well like THAT! The first batch of Armscor I had was a little better. I loose my brass pretty fast so I wasn't expecting to load 10 or 12 reloads like some people claim they get with the extra good brands. I think Armsor can have a niche market with their brass if they can keep the price way below Starline, Lapau and Hornady. But if I were young and super serious I would buy the extra good stuff! FM
  6. That seems to be the consensus, just get a CR Speed. Having said that, to simplify the question, just as an FYI: Which model Ghost model is supposed to work with a Caspian? Which model Limcat is supposed to work with a Caspian? Which model Xtreme is supposed to work with a Caspian? (square trigger guard Caspian if that makes a difference) Thanks! Frank Garcia told me the Extreme's for Caspians were special order from Germany and it would take a couple of months to get one. That was several years ago and it could be all different now. FM
  7. But not for a squared off Caspian if you're talking about Ghost version 1.0. The best holster I have ever had for my open Caspian is a CR Speed. I have tried a lot of holsters but I haven't tried all of them. (Gugas and Limcat are two I haven't tried BTW.) FM
  8. At the Aliph site you can sign up for the "In Stock" notification. Just Google Jawbone, you'll get there. I received notification last Friday and ordered it that night online. It was supposed to ship in three business days; so I am hoping to have it Friday night after I get back to our office. I'll give a quick review after I get it! FM
  9. Lots less friction; I'll bet the "felt" better too! Is the accuracy any where remotely close to the XTP's? I am betting that if you factor in the price difference, they are accurate enough. FM
  10. I tried one of the older Ghost holsters that required the trigger guard be drilled. After adjusting the crap out of it I gave up. It was either too tight or falling out of the holster. The trigger guard is a lot narrower the an S_I and I think that is the guard the holster was intended for. I do know some people that use a Ghost with a Caspian but I couldn't make it work. Using a holster like the Ghost made running a lot easier with the holster in the position I wanted. I'd like a thirty day free trial with the Limcat; my old holster box is full! Now I have a CR Speed and love it as much as my Blackberry. FM

What really sucks is when you get a new one! FM
  12. Thanks George, I'll keep that in mind if I don't like Jawbone. FM

If you would be willing to move to Nebraska I may be able to help. Our local factory is in dire need of people in the quality control arena. They manufacture residential and industrial gas meters and regulators. We have an excellent range and club 40" away. FM
  14. Jawbone is in stock and my order has been placed. I was thinking it was high priced, but if it keeps me from misunderstanding someone it may be dirt cheap. Thanks everyone and I will have a review soon! FM
  15. Way cool on the maico!!!!! Mine was an 81 or2 mega 2 490 Hottest bike I EVER had about 200lbs WET 50 hp at the back wheel The guy I sold it to had no respect for it(after severe warnings) On his first ride he crashed hard..spent three weeks in the hospital! jim The "83 Spyder's were really top heavy and the brakes sucked. The '81 was the best bike Maico ever made IMHO. I'm so old I have never owned a water cooled or disc braked dirt bike! FM

I did my exit interview for my night job today and Friday night will be my last night. Saturday I will be a full time Realtor. More time for dry fire, live practice and matches? FM
  17. Way cool Bob! I started racing about '73 and was totally done '85. My last bike was a 1983 Maico Spyder 490. I wish my last bike was an "81 Maico because they were a superior machine. I finished my youth turning wrenches for a friend trying to go pro at AMA Supercross's and Nationals. Lots of cool stuff you never want to forget. You probably did the whole Texas winter series after the Florida series. What did they call that? The Supercross series ruined all of that fun. FM
  18. As in, the "Hurricane", Supercross winner in '77? Bob lives in Idaho. BobHannah.com FM
  19. I decided to create a new topic from the I Hate Bluetooth Devices as I severly drifted the thread. I need a Bluetooth head set. I want the Jawbone but it is sold out. The other models I am interested in are the Platronics Discovery 645 but it doesn't appear to have an ear loop and the Logiteck BT with the noise cancellation foam. Sonic quality is very important to me; can anyone help me make a final decision? Thanks! FM
  20. Like this Forum? FM I haven't purchesed one yet. Chek this out. http://jawbone.com/meet.html FM That's the one I have. It's awesome Jawbone is sold out. FM
  21. I wish I would have rode Trials before I tried to race MX back in the day. (Then I would have learned the fundamentals of riding a motorcycle.) Motocross tracks are easy when you have the fundamentals down. Winning races is a different story. FM
  22. I did the exact same thing SiG Lady. I do not get it, and my PC is almost 4 years old. FM
  23. If there was no debt there would be no money. If everyone paid off their debts there would be no money circulating When everyone is buried to there eyeballs with debt there is a need for new people to go into debt to grow the "economy". I remember the 1963 day my parents told me the evil of leaving the gold standard. I would have been seven years old and I remember it like it was yesterday. FM
