  1. I've never been able to get those to cycle in my M3K. I'm thinking about getting that light load kit myself. I have pretty much everything they make on mine, and no complaints.
  2. No experience with the J Kenny one, but my MOA one, the manufacturer said that I needed an extra strong (longer) spring for it to work properly. Try a new spring first, see how that works before you do anything else.
  3. I ran a Lantac Dragon for a good while, and didn't like it. No matter what I did to it, there was always a lot of movement. Switched to a Miculek brake and love it. Haven't looked back.
  4. I have the MOA one on my Stoeger M3K, and used it all season. LOVE IT. Took a little time to break it in, and since then it's been perfect.
  5. It should be a great PRS trigger, absolutely. Anything else, I wouldn't go near it. That's just my opinion. Clearly there are others who would disagree. There's so much personal preference in everything for shooting, there is no one right/best anything for everyone. Shot my match today, and my Timney felt great. I think I might be keeping it now.
  6. I put it in my 3 gun rifle. I just got back from the range, and I hate it so much. The reset is so weak... I couldn't get past that reset. If it were the exact same trigger with a decent reset, I'd be all over it. For long range, this would be perfect. Where I shoot, most of the rifle stages are up close with 100 yards max. Lots of hosing... This will not work for me. Time to put the Timney back in.
  7. I recently ordered one of these (went with the flat face), it arrived today, and I just finished installing it an hour ago. Through dry firing only, I'm very impressed so far. Huge upgrade from my Timney 3 pound competition trigger. I'll get to the range with it Saturday for an official testing, and then a match on Sunday. I'll update after I send some rounds with this thing.
  8. They're the kydex Uncle Mikes doubles. They've been angled fairly nicely and I've never had an issue with one falling out in 3 Gun. Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it!
  9. Just because I don't know, why? What's the difference if I have 2 side by side (x2) vs 4/5 singles all further spaced apart?
  10. Hey guys, I've been doing 3 Gun for a couple years, and have been tinkering with the idea of doing USPSA in Production. Noob question: • Each magazine must be contained individually within the magazine pouch Does this mean that I'm going to need 4 or 5 pouches, or can I use the Uncle Mikes double pouches that I've been using? 1 mag per holder, or can I use doubles? Thanks!
  11. Call APEX. Their customer service is awesome. They'll let you know.
  12. I have the MOA one for my Stoeger. It takes a good while to break it in, and needs plenty of lubrication. Shells need to be loaded FAST, any slow loading will lock it up. Hope that helps some.
  13. Can you please elaborate on this? What did you like, didn't you like, what was different, could you compare the feel or recoil to anything? Thanks!
  14. It's not so much missing the reset, it's more the reset distance. That's the best way I can describe it. The AR Gold looks like it has virtually no reset travel, and that's what I'm looking for.
  15. I'm open to the AR Gold Considering most of these will have the same break (except the gold of course), I'm more interested in the reset distance/speed Just now learning that they're adjustable - those of you who have it, how have you adjusted it? (I'm having a tough time finding anything concrete on that - 1, 2, or some sites have said 3 different adjustments) Thanks! Also, this was sent to me recently: Hiperfire 24C vs AR Gold
  16. After reading everything and watching all the videos here: https://www.pewpewtactical.com/best-ar-15-triggers/... That guy's splits don't mean anything to me, but watching the trigger pulls and reset offer an apples to apples view. I think I'm looking more at the Elftmann 3 Gun and the Hiperfire Eclipse, or just keeping what I have. Anyone else have thoughts here? Thanks for the input above!
  17. What's your reasoning? All 3 of those are around $270-ish. Price isn't the issue - it's 100% need for function. Also, here's some data I've found. Using the Timney Skeletonized as the comparison to the Competition (same trigger, just skeletonized)
  18. Hello, While I'm still relatively new at this sport, I'm starting to fall out of love for my Timney 3 pound competition trigger. It's great and all, but I've recently noticed the dumbest thing... on my double taps, I'm pulling the trigger on the second shot before the trigger has reset. I'm pretty sure it's just me not letting it reset, but I'm wondering if possibly another trigger would just be a better fit. It seems like the reset takes forever and needs to travel a mile... If I just need to practice with it more, so be it. However I was wondering if anyone has some decent comparative experience with a possible replacement. I'm only considering single stage triggers, something that has minimal take up, travel to break, overtravel, and reset. Basically I'm looking for something to break like glass, move 1mm, and reset 1mm. I've narrowed it down to the Elftmann 3 Gun, the Hiperfire 24c, Hiperfire Eclipse, and Timney Calvin Elite, or keep the Timney I have and just practice more. The Calvin Elite 1.5 pound pull sounds a little light for my preference, but who knows. Thoughts? Thank you!
  19. I've had my nickel boron Brownells light weight BCG since they came out, and I love it. 8.2 ounces and it cleans so fast. $110? It's a no brainer, you'll be very happy with it. You said all around AR15, is this for competition at all? If so, I'd absolutely get that BCG and an adjustable gas block. Again, I'll highly recommend the JP Silent Capture Spring (you don't need to buy the additional spring kit).
  20. Another vote for the Ergo Tactical Deluxe. I love mine. Of the few grips I've fiddled with over the years, it remains my favorite.
  21. It depends on how much you want to spend, and if you're going to seriously compete, or if you there to compete and have fun. Where I go, I'd say about 1/4 to 1/3 of all shotguns are Stoeger M3Ks, including my own. I got it off gunbroker.com new for $550, delivered. Add an extension tube, new spring, and you're ready to go. If your bank account allows, there is of course the M2, extremely popular, top quality, etc... and several other options. So much of 3 Gun is user preference and practice...
  22. I have that brownells bcg, nickel boron, and I love it. No issues at all. I'm also using that Gen 2 SCS, the same BA barrel, and a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block. They work great together. You may want to consider a single stage trigger. I went with Timney, and it's amazing.

I put this in my M&P Pro Core 9L about a year ago, and I really like it. Not game changing, but you can definitely notice a difference for the better. My Pro Core is set up with all Apex stuff and is geared towards 3gun and USPSA production, just for a little background on it - not stock.
  24. I use the Taccom chest rig, but I added a pair of $5 suspenders from amazon to make sure it stays where it should. Not that I had an issue with it moving or shifting, just tackling a problem before it exists.
  25. 99.9% sure it's 15mm. I bought a 13 and 15mm socket because I wasn't sure at the time, and the 15 is still on the extender (haven't used it since)
