  1. New here so if this isn't the appropriate page please let me know. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with the MOA Precision AutoLoad lifter or any new info on the J Kenny Co lifter coming out soon? Thanks
  2. M2 ~2,500 rounds on original springs Problem; Lifter intermittently sticking up on the last shot Solution (Hopefully); New Cartridge Drop Lever Spring and Carrier Spring in hand. The Carrier Spring replacement looks straightforward. Question; What is the Cartridge Drop Lever Spring replacement process?
  3. I have a versamax tactical with the welded lifter from c-rums. It has worked flawlessly for about 150 rounds. This week I took a competition multigun class with Mike Seeklaner and Erik Lund and had 4 shot shells and 2 slugs out of 200 round get caught on the extractor cut in the barrel. Its possible it was bad shellsm but I see on here were people "break the edge" or "radius the sharp edge. Does anybody have any pictures of what one looks like after the modification? I could not find pictures in any of the threads and I dont want to make it worse or ruin the barrel. Thanks
  4. So here is the poll with 5 options to choose from. I am not asking anyone to commit just yet, just getting final ideas. May be able to do #2 & #3 simultaneously.
  5. Hello, I have a versa max tactical that I have been useing for 3 gun for the last six months. I am using the load two method with the carbon arms backbone. My load times are pretty good but the lifter has got me a few times while practicing so it makes me a little uneasy during matches and I slow down. I finally got an extra lifter from remington and sent it to c-rum to have it welded. Just got it back last night and polished it up since it came bead blasted. I have been looking over all the threads on here and I am concerned that the welded lifter might cause some reliability problems and the gun as been flawless to date. Some of the threads say to bevel the extractor cut out in the barrel, is this needed and if so how much should it be beveled? I have already added a +1 cap and polished up the shell stop and broke the sharp edge on it. I also opened up the u notches slightly to help it load easier. Also some threads say to remove the second spring from the shell stop, but I don't see how this would help. Just looking for any advice to help insure the welded lifter dosent cause any reliability issues in the next match. Thank you.
  6. I just picked up a 22" Versa Max for 3 gun to replace my 28" wood Benelli Super Black Eagle. I had Jeff @ C-Rums weld the lifter on the Benelli. I've heard that the trigger groups are very close to interchangeable but use different pins for the reciever connection. I was able to swap the lifers and they seem to be the same dimensions and fit very well. QUESTION to the group: Has any one done this? If so is it working ok?
