  1. Before my I got my guns from Olhasso I was having light strikes. One day I was hammering out the rounds and I notice there were no Blazer in the pile. It was all win and fc. Just so happens Blazer is the most common brass around here. I stopped sorting out Blazer at 27k, not including 9k I loaded about 11 times and sold off. And with .040TK moons Blazer is just perfect
  2. I get it. I just had RP fall out of DAA moons when I first started this game. TK are even looser. Odd side note RP must use some nasty priming compound, they are hard to get clean.
  3. RP? What’s a TK pocket? I found the UniqueTek funnel for .358 works great on my automated press. I should have got it earlier but on my 650 I just lived with the occasional scrape.
  4. I've never ever had sticking/bulging issues (not with my loads anyway). I do rollsize, use a Lee U die with a FCD all with blazer brass 1.19" with N320 (165gr .358) And it's fine across all 6 929's we have.
  5. Pelican vault cases. Bought 2 then covid hit so they have gone unused.
  6. It’s not sanctioned by icore but same scoring and divisions. Icore in all but name. Mark runs a good match, and he helped me out last year with ammo as I was limited by the airlines for the AZ matches.
  7. Looks like the bullet isn’t going in straight. Is the wear on the case on one side only? (at the base of the bullet) I never did fix my 40 issue, I just stop shooting Limited and went to open.
  8. I found the UniqueTek funnels cured my sticking issues. The one for 358 coated for 9mm for revo shooters was a godsend in fixing the scraping I was occasionally getting on my 650. I only got around to getting one when I set up my Revolution toolhead. Churned out 10k like butter.
  9. Not to harangue a point but I saw a fb clip of Jerry shooting a stage. It’s not the Jerry of old to put it nicely. yes getting together with old friends is fun, that was part of the reason we did so many regionals back in 2019. Well we made a lot of new friends, saw new places and shot guns. Still quite upset that the IRC was cancelled last year, USPSA didn’t cancel Nats. That would have been easy for us to attend. Things are getting harder regulation wise and I don’t us being able to visit the USA until maybe a new administration? If at all if I’m brutally honest. What I’m conveying is it looks like we missed the golden years of the IRC’s in Moro bay with the skid of gun prizes and more. The attendance records prove my point and for all the hype of this IRC the lack of creativity isn’t something to gloss over. I’m just the only one willing to point it out.
  10. I’m not denying it’s fun, but the 2018 and 2019 had a lot more interesting stages. We are shooting the CDN postal match next week. $40 and 90 min drive. Saw a fb post of Jerry shooting 6 targets lined up next to a plate rack and he wasn’t exactly hitting it out of the park. Does even he care? 121 shooters. We had 110 and 115 last Oct in the AZ matches but there sure wasn’t much whoop on the ICORE fb page.
  11. Kinda have to say I'm not heartbroken about not attending. Not exactly the most imaginative stages especially given it's the 30th?
  12. I did read about it here. Personally I hated the stuff and sold off 7lbs of the 8lb container the LGS sold me when I first started reloading.
  13. I remember something about titegroup being a double base powder which means it reacts with the plastic on the coated bullets during storage. Not a big deal if you don’t mind vaporizing a bit of lead with each shot. Might not be a big deal if you don’t shoot indoors.
  14. I wish I didn’t buy the set. Micrometers are overkill and problematic. I had all kind of issues setting them up. Mainly the crimp die. I eventually dumped it and used a Lee 9mm taper crimp die I bought for a 38 short colt project that never happened. I bought the 38 super comp Lyman pro kit. For use in my Evo pro.
  15. I hate box to box shooting but that said I’m shooting the CDN regionals postal match which I’m sure will be full of boxes. Probably the only time this year I’ll shoot my wheel gun at a match. as for cheating we spent hours checking out the stages at the 2019 IRC after we shot the classifiers. And then I watched Mike shoot a stage ahead of us during the match.
  16. I am Legend. There is a sequel coming, not holding out any hope it’s anything higher than a 6.5/10
  17. I’m about done. One more match Sunday then I’m off for a month to prepare for Provincials. Which is the biggest match of the year given IPSC Canada Nationals are cancelled.
  18. Ipsc up here releases the stages for all L3’s in advance. What they don’t mention is the start position.
  19. Cheap is what S&W did to the “Performance Center” moniker. Given the only use of a 929 is competition use, it’s shameful it’s sold the way it is. Our 929’s Dave worked on are worth every penny.
  20. Dave Olhasso .https://www.olhasso.com/services.html
  21. I don't care as long I can get away to fresh air. But I don't mind the smell of a good cigar but I never could actually smoke one (and like it) and I've tried.
  22. Maybe the .040 are tighter but I had to mix WIN with FED or Blazer. Win alone wouldn’t work. Only reason I went all Blazer is I discovered the Blazer were giving me no light strikes. It was the other 2. Mind you my guns had rather lousy action “jobs” at the time. But I was committed and worked towards a nice stockpile of Blazer over 3 years.
