  1. Kurt, we're still talking about rifles here right? Hahaha
  2. Blaise1-it looks like me and your Julie are in the same boat... we both are disappointed that we didn't get that birthday present we were looking for lol
  3. I had my alarm all set, but work got in the way (police officer: had to help a bed ridden elderly man). By the time I tried to register at 5:21 it was completely closed
  4. I had a ton of fun at this match. There were lots of targets to challenge your skills with a rifle which I really liked. I will definitely shoot Tac Ops next time as the prize table was amazing. My suggestions: as Jim already mentioned, more latrines. 1 at each stage. More water. The BBQ lunch was amazing but not everyone likes tea and there was no water on a lot of the stages. I would love to see more shotgun targets including clays. I would also like to see some stages using all three guns. Thanks to everyone that helped in running the match. Everyone was friendly and things ran pretty good. I will definitely be back.
  5. The code finally worked for me. Hopefully I'll have it soon
  6. That coupon code did not work for me.
  7. Yes but the number of targets listed in the description doesn't match up to the number of targets shown in the diagram. Just didn't know if the targets that weren't on the diagram were paper or steel
  8. Is that assuming one on the rifle and pistol per paper target? That count looks a lot like the count posted before that was one on each. We still don't have much of an idea if it is that or double that count (depends upon how much paper vs steel). Would it be too much to ask for some stages? "Single Hits" on all targets (steel & paper). Diagrams are being finalized (QC'd) this week and should be revealed on the FB3Gun website this weekend. If I counted them all right (didn't really understand stage 6 since the number of targets on the diagram didn't match the stage description) this is what it looks like for 1 shot per steel and 2 shots per paper: 142 Pistol 96 Rifle 54 Birdshot 6 Slugs
  9. I cleaned the gas rings thoroughly and installed the xp spring and it has run flawlessly since then
  10. Since I unofficially gave this optic it's name, I wouldn't mind testing it ;-). If not, still put me on the list as I want one!
  11. So I got the new 40 round Pmags and a five round extension, so I have numerous choices in Pmags. The coupled 30's to make 60 rounds, 30 rounder with 18 rnd extension, 40 rounder with 5 round extension, 40 rounder, 30 rounder, and 20 rounder. Here is a pic so you can see the size differences.
  12. +1 what davehorn said. I always way overpack on the ammo. That's gonna be an expensive UPS package haha
  13. From the match staff: "They were calculated shooting one per paper target." That means more trigger time fellas :-)
  14. I replied asking if that's one or two per paper, so standby for clarification
  15. From the match staff: We will shortly post the finalized round count. It is tentatively 72 Birdshot, 5 slug, 95 rifle and 88 pistol. We do not receive ammo shipments. All of the three recommended hotels we use in Bridgeport TX will receive and safegueard your shipments.
  16. Works for me since I'm already shooting open I just hope Horner doesn't shoot open at this match like he did last year haha
  17. Well, since it doesn't appear to have a name yet, may I suggest the obvious? The POGO. Taken from this threads title, Perfect Open Gun Optic.
  18. Pat, do you have any plans to do that same type of test with some of the newer comps that came out after you did that test? ie the Seekins, Firebird, and Carbon Arms comps
