  1. Thunderstick, you can use whatever mag pouches you want as long as they are in the right place on you hip. Also Vanek's 1.5 lb trigger job is not legal because he relocate the pivot pin on the itself and fills in the old hole. According to production rule you can not have any external mods (with some exclusions of course, sights, grip tape etc.) and if you look hard enough you can see it is modifed. Fortyfiveshooter: try 4.0gr WST behind a 230 LRN it is a VERY soft load, I have not yet chronoed it but according to Winchesters manual it goes 750 fps a 172 pf. So you can play around with that and shoot L10 if you want.
  2. +1 on clays. I tried 3.0 gr clays compared to the 3.5 gr titegroup, and I like the clays better.
  3. Check out glockmeister.com. They have A LOT of useful info. http://glockmeister.com/glockinf.shtml Except when removing the connector do not pry it out like it shows in their intructions. Use a small tool to push it out from the opposite side of the ejector housing. Prying could bend it and then you will lose the proper tension needed.
  4. I have one in my G35 and it works great. You can adjust to take out all the overtravel and pretravel. But when you mess with the pretravel too much you have to watch out or you will disengage all of the safeties. Once the trigger is pulled you will still feel some "sponginess" in the trigger because of the stop being on the left side of the cruciform and the trigger bar flexing. Something like a Ghost Rocket connector or a Jentra overtravel stop will probably have less flex because they are on the right side eliminating some of the flex. But they do not have the pretravel. I like it because one part does two jobs.
  5. I too was having some failure to feeds with my G35. The bullet was getting stuck on the roof of the chamber and it looked like the rim was not making it up under the extractor. I tried a new extractor. Didn't work. I thought I was thumbing my slide, I fixed my grip. It didn't work. I thought it was bad mag springs with my arredondo +5 extensions, even though it did it with all my mags standard cap too. I put in all new ISMI mag springs. It still didn't work. I thought it was my reloads. So I used factory ammo. Still didn't work. I thought I was limp wristing so I held it like a fat kid eating cake. I worked but only if I had a real death grip on it and I know Glocks should not be that finicky. One day I noticed that when hand cycling it I could hear the trigger bar falling back down into place on the connector when the slide was pulled all the way back, and I knew that that was not right. The pick-up rail was hitting the trigger bar downward when the slide was all the way back. So I compared my trigger bar to a couple of friends' bars and I noticed that mine did not have the downward bend on the cruciform like theirs did. When my finger was on the trigger and I cycled the slide the rail would hit the trigger bar and bind somewhat. Making it so the slide could not go all the way back. I purchased a new trigger bar that had the bend and now it works flawlessly. The faulty bar is on the left, the new bar with the correct downward bend is on the right. Hope this helps.

    Uspsa Production

Is shooting a G35 with a kkm conversion barrel to 9mm legal for production?
  7. Hey I live in California and I'm not a big fan. How about: There are only 1107 handguns that are considered "SAFE" by the DOJ. Many of the guns you guys use to compete with are deemed "unsafe" in the wonderful state of California. It has the two worst polluted areas in the nation, the San Joaquin Valley and the LA area.
  8. I just got the Heine/Dawson combo and opened the rear to .150, and I couldn't be happier
  9. OK, I know you guys will tell me to go look at glockmeister's site about the pics of the different generation mags, but they have the 2nd and 3rd generation mags listed. How can you tell what a 4th gen mag looks like?
  10. I am having a little trouble figuring out which front sight to use with which rear sight. I would like to use the Hiviz fiber optic front sight because I like the versitility of the different sizes and colors of the light pipes. The hard thing is finding a rear sight that will work with that. I would preferably like to go with a fixed sight but I would also go with an adjustable too. Your help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Is using moly coated bullets safe in a stock Glock barrel. I know using lead isn't the smartest idea but I'm not sure of moly's. Can I then use jacketed bullets after I use moly's I was told by a friend that I can't, that once I use moly that I will always have to use moly.
  12. I am going to be using my Glock 35 with a stock barrel for limited major so I need some help with a recipe using VV N320 with 180 gr Rainiers of Berrys. What I'm having trouble with is how many grains should I start with and then work up to and what should the OAL be. Your help will be greatly appreciated. I was told one load with Titegroup but I would like to compare side by side TG to N320. My TG load looks like this 180 gr Rainiers RNFP 4.5-4.7 grs TG (depending on what my gun will give me for major) 1.125-1.13 OAL FED small pistol primers If you think i should modify this let me know, or if you have some suggestions for N320. Thanks!
