  1. I don't think they invited amateurs. I won the amateur series and didn't get anything or hear anything about it. I'll definitely be signing up though when reg opens. I always love shooting in Vegas
  2. Website shows a list of $1199 - what's the street price? At that type of list it may make sense to pony up the extra coin and go for the Vortex Razor which is highly thought of. Optics planet has them for $799
  3. Check out the new Burris XTR II 1-5x. Might be just what you are looking for.
  4. Jesse, don't you that chopping off the tip is a lot less painful when done at birth? Lol
  5. Try to super glue the broken bit too something small like a safety pin tip. Then pull it out. It would have to be precise though, so that the glue doesn't get on the screw and bit tip.
  6. When I drilled into mine, I used a pretty low speed so that it wouldn't throw any fiber around. It took a few minutes but it wasn't much of a problem. Having said that, I still wore eye protection and a face mask
  7. Call up Clark. They have curved metal back plates that go inside the tube for support. I used those and did what Chevy said and it works great
  8. 1 lb jugs of 2230 are now in stock at powder valley. I'd imagine it won't last long
  9. If this is how things are going to be, how will new shooters ever get into the match?
  10. Like my parents always said, "Life is not fair." Having said that, there are ways to be "more fair." I'll be up front that my opinion is biased because I was one of the few that was able to get through and registered for one match (the only one of the four that I could possibly attend). I believe that the people that percevered, stayed at the computer (or phone like me), kept trying to get in and did, should be rewarded and their registration should be honored. The slots that were not taken due to the error should be opened up at a later date to the rest and the majority of the people. By seeing the interest in these matches one can assume that these matches will be full within a minute of registration opening, just like SMM3G. Is it fair to the people that live remotely and/or have a slow internet connection, that even though the registered on time, couldn't get through because of the bombardment of others with a faster or lucky connection? Is it fair that the people that spent hours away from their family on the holiday, have to do this all over again and hope their mouse click and internet connection are quick enough again? Everybody will have their opinions on how it should be done/redone and this is my $0.02.
  11. If you didn't get the email, check your junk folder. That's where mine was
  12. They should honor the ones that went through. That shows how much we love this sport and how dedicated we are to it, to sit by the computer for two hours just to sign up and shoot in their organization
  13. Are you serious or just trying to pull a "Jessie"? 3GN Regionals Registration ClosedDue to the overwhelming response, our systems have crashed, locking most people out from registering for the 3GN Regional Matches. Technicians have been hard at work since the launch, attempting to resolve the problems. However, after 90 minutes, the system is still not operating well enough to handle the demand. So at this time 3GN is closing registration to the Regional matches until the problems are resolved. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to all. We put this registration on a holiday on purposewith the intent that family and friends could see our members interest and love for the sport of 3-gun. We hoped that each of you could take this opportunity to share the sport of 3-gun. However, this has clearly been a failure on our part. For that we truly apologize. Our team will continue to work on the issues, and well re-launch the registration, one match at a time, at a later date. And well work our tail off to do better next time. Sincerely, Pete Brown, Chad Adams, Charles Sole & Tennille Chidester 3-Gun Nation Wait? What? But I like my registration. Does that mean I can no longer keep my registration?
  14. Mine said for the western regional, "your event registration was processed successfully" wtf does that mean? Am I in or not?
  15. Well it is thanksgiving, so that 10 minutes in football time right? Haha
  16. ssssshhhhhhhh let them think they are registered so I can sneak in there at 6pm pst
  17. Chuck stop reminding all the shooters that have shot it before... I've never shot it and trying to get in!
  18. I made major in my 4.25 with hs6 and 124's no problem. Don't remember the amount of powder though
  19. Come on Pat, you can't just keep us hanging like that haha
