Just finished a match with this setup. It runs flatter. I don't know all the whys but it just shoots better with the thin one in for me. 124g and 130PF.

I changed the thick shock buffer to the thin one and cut coils off a CGW 10lbs recoil spring. I have no idea what the new spring rate is but just a guess near 8lbs. I heard of a few pro shooters in EU using 8lbs springs. It has allowed the gun to shoot flatter (to me) using 115 through 165 ammo and has picked everything up from the mag as it cycles.

.240 high is what we are running on the Shadow 2 when purchased from Dawson Precision to mate with the stock adjustable rear sight.

You might need a new hammer and an adjustable sear.

In my Shadow 2, 11.5 hammer spring and either the 11 or 10 pound recoil spring. 10 rs is in there now.

I honestly had issues with my TSO because the trigger break is so light, too light for me! Plus the grip was just a tad bit too big even with thin grips. I sold it to a friend and bought a new DVC Limited on sale. Super happy with the trigger pull as it breaks in. The Gen2 STI mags are good. The TSO was just not for me and the DVC has run flawlessly. Have fun with your research!

I tried the RHT; too loose of a fit. Now have a BladeTech with the BOSS hanger. Diggin' it!

Stock rear sight and just ordered a custom Dawson .240h x .125w. My old eyes like less of a gap. Yellow f/o from Brazos. CGW 10 recoil spring, CGW 11.5 HS, CGW reduced trs, CZC extended fp and 2075 Rami fps. I did not polish the internals, springs only! DA 5.14 and SA 2.0. Stock trigger. CZC thin blue grips, CGW floating trigger pin, CZC basepads. I have the CZC RRK kit but will wait until May on the install if needed. I got lucky. I have on order a set of LOK thin full checkered G10s. Depending on muzzle flip, might entertain an 8 or 9 recoil spring. Running ammo/primers reliability tests. So far it has lit up everything (Fed, MagTech, Win, CCI) and I like the 135g Blue bullet from TNT with Win primers. First match with it this weekend in Dothan.

A friend of mine just sold me his like-new Black Shadow 2! This thread has been very informative and I plan on setting my gun up like a lot of yours. My CZ 75 Shadow SAO will have family!

Since I don't Facebook, thanks for keeping us up to date on what is happening to the S-2. I just looked at my 75 Shadow SAO and no crack. I wonder if the Tanfo Stock 2 and 3 are having similar issues?

Thanks guys! I agree that without the cutouts stay away! I was tossing around the Bull Shadow or one of the custom house's S-2s. I like the S-2 and I may have to go stock w/cutouts and add parts as I go. Weird issue. I may revisit my thinking on the Bull!

Okay, what is the serial number range for this problem? What is the real cause of the problem, +P ammo?

Does anyone have a fix action to make this 140mm setup fit the USPSA gauge? I just received my EGW gauge and all 5 of them don't fit. Thanks in advance for replies!

Just like mine, red and white interchangeable for different loads. BTW, I have 3 x PPQs I'm selling locally (one is a Q5 match) and sticking with the SFX for my polymer preference. IMO, the SFX is a better pistol than the Q5.

So I have to ask, what are the pro shooters using in Limited with the 40 SW round? 200g, 180g, 165g, PF? That is if anyone really knows!
