  1. A lot of us are running the Dawson .240 front sight.
  2. How are they measuring this? Calipers set to inches? I measured mine at the widest point (top) and had .17 inches. So I guess I have a .2 also. It would appear this is stock.
  3. I was able to fit one in my 75 Shadow. Real nice! Thinking about swapping the whole hammer group into the Shadow 2. Both guns have the CGW race hammers and adjustable sears. Only diff is the discos. The 75 Shadow has the CZC Short DA Trigger Kit installed. So the other diff will be the CZC trigger.

    Shadow2 magazines??

I like the CZ 16 round mag with the Springer base pads. MecGar 17s are my back up mags.
  5. Watch the video done by MAC. I have over 500 rounds through my kit without a hiccup. I've run off the shelf ammo from 115-147g.
  6. I was looking for at least 3-4mm difference but I'll take 2mm. Time to play!
  7. Problem solved! Took out the Tanfo spring and put in a new CZ sear spring. The rear of the springs are different and the Tanfo was keeping the sear up off the hooks. Lesson learned. Still not getting the results like the others pictured. Stock trigger is back in and is a little bit better. Going to live with this setup. Looking back, I wouldn't do it again.
  8. Use your AR lower and add this: Stern Defense MAG-AD9 Glock Magazine Adapter & 9mm Upper.
  9. I purchased the complete upper and magwell insert at their discounted price. No problems mating it to my Anderson lower with HiperFire 24C trigger. With cheapo optic and empty mag, weighs 6.2lbs. So far over 350 rounds fired with no issues. Real awesome product!!
  10. Got the kit in with the following upgrades: adjustable sear with Tanfo 4 coil sear spring and SS race hammer. Now the hammer occasionally does not lock back in SA. Only change from a normal CGW upgrade is the Tanfo sear spring and might be causing the sear to not engage the hooks. Well, the spring is coming out! But........I still have takeup and haven't seen the benefit of the RRK. Also, had to take out both of the trigger adjustment screws to make it work. Thinking of taking everything out leaving the adjustable trigger with the stock parts and start over.
  11. Nicely done!! I'm getting into mine right now.

    New Hammer pins install

Thanks! All the parts are new and being assembled. I want to keep my stock S2 parts intact.
  13. Folks, I'm building my Shadow 2 CGW RRK kit with a new SS race hammer, full size strut, the new S2 disconnector, and the adjustable sear. Do the CGW hammer pins (H-pin) require a vice to install? Just want to here how y'all are doing this. Pins and hammer are CGW. Thanks.

    shadow 2 crack?

Please let us know the details on the replacement slide.
  16. I was able to order my S2 parts and a few other goodies today. Slack time at work helps!!
  17. What product category/page number section are they in??? I can't see them either.
  18. Copied from another CZ forum..................from CGW The good news - all the new Shadow 2 Reach Reduction parts are in! The not so good news - we had a perfect storm today, the largest CZ-USA order we have ever placed arrived today along with a slew of other parts (the Shadow 2 RRK being one of those). We are setting up the new Shadow 2 RRK's in our accounting system and will should add them this weekend to the sebsite. The part number for the Shadow 2 RRK is 75850 and will sell for $88.00.As a side note, our new Shadow 2 (non-RRK) disconnectors were part of these orders. We installed a few today in the shop and they dropped in perfectly with no fitting and the reset was as good as a hand fit disco. Some Shadow 2's may require some very minor fitting, but it will be miniscule. All our 75800 and 758100 Shadow kits will get this new disco effective 5-14-18. This will make upgrading the S-2 much easier.
  19. As I ease into PCC, I'm starting out with my Anderson ar15 lower/Hiperfire 24C trigger, mating it with the MAG-AD9 W/ MOD1 13'' KEYMOD 16.1''BARREL 9MM RIFLE UPPER KIT, includes the Glock mag/magwell add on , and giving it a try. If I really like this, I'll focus on a PCC specific build. Not sure at this time what the hell IDPA is going to do with their finalized round count. USPSA is funner.

    New Shadow 2 stoppages

Clean/lube it up, change to a different bullet profile and weight. Report back please! I had a little hiccup on my 75 Shadow at a match using 147g. It was related to the magazine springs in the 18 round mags. Clean your mags and check for burs on the plastic followers.

    Shadow 2 Grips

LOK thin full checkered G10 on my Shadow 2. I tried the Henning grips on the S2 and they found their way on to my 75 Shadow.
  22. I'm using an 8lbs recoil spring, thin buffer, and 124g ammo (Freedom 124 reman-129pf in the S2). Flat is fast. Won first in production division over the weekend with this setup. And, I'm an old guy.
