  1. I tried Titegroup but liked one of my WSF loads much better. Cleaner and softer shooting. In the end I just run my CO load so I do not have two 9 Minor loads.
  2. I see those at the range from time to time. Always wondered why when brass in 9mm is so cheap. Kinda like having to hunt your 38Super brass.
  3. How did the 7.4 HS6 Chrono? Seems a little light unless you have a fast barrel.
  4. That makes sense. The scores had just been uploaded like the night before I first checked.
  5. Ok, makes sense. But when I first posted they had the last 2 as still pending. No Y or B. Guess their system takes awhile to populate all the data fields.
  6. I have 4 posted, one is labeled a B because it is lower than the ranking they gave me. Three others labled Y as accepted. The last one shows a Y but has not been figured in my ranking. Just curious as to how they gave me the initial ranking as I can not make the math work. But then again I may not know the formula!
  7. If you already have a classification and you start a new division, how many classifiers do you have to shoot to get a classification in the new division? I already have a B in CO, and started PCC and Open this year. I checked my status on the USPSA websight and have 4 registered PCC classifiers and 2 of them are pending. They gave me a classification in PCC with only 2 classifiers processed. In Open I have 3 processed but no classification???
  8. Same lot of Blue bullets, Winchester Small Rifle primers and indoor range. One of the guys at my last match mentioned how smoky it was. So I watched the videos and then went to my local indoor range. Going to chrono as soon as weather permits. If chrono is good, I will just keep shooting.
  9. Just started shooting out of my new lot of HS-6... Holy Cow this stuff smokes! Got some older loads of the same weight out of my stash and nowhere the smoke. Anyone else seeing this?
  10. Wow! Few new ones in that line up! Glad they got in more stock. But no Convex.....
  11. Love my CZ. Just finished doing a trigger job similar to the CZ custom trigger. I like the more heads up with the CZ than my AR variants. I want the dot to be as close to the bore as possible. Most AR variants have to run a tall spacer as bore is inline with stock. CZ has some drop to the stock. Shoot both if you can to see which is most natural.
  12. EGW /Koneig setup, Matt McLearn extended firing pin, Geppert Convex trigger. I am in love with the convex trigger! EGW extremely crisp out of the box.
  13. Polish the bottom portion of the slide from the breech face to the disconnector divot. Mine does that some. I switched bullet profiles to a truncated cone away from flat points, and this helped feeding.
  14. Correct! I went back and edited a second time but must not have saved it! I did use a short Ejector vs the extended length ejector and it works great with the 9Major. If the EXTRACTOR does not hold until the case hits the ejector, the Rds in the mag will push the fired case up before it can hit the extractor, causing stove pipes.
  15. Post up your slide measurements. CK, Caspian and others all have slightly different dimensions. We can probably take your data and let you know which would be the better fit. I am an avid DIY'r and do all my own work. But I have killed a slide.....well repurposed it anyways. I make all my own tools jigs etc. If you do not do this for a living, often enough making the jigs will get you practiced enough on the mill/lathe to do good work on your slide etc.
  16. I will see if I can get a picture. Take the slide off the gun and see if the extractor will hold the Bullet in place. Should hold the bullet in place with some slight pressure. Then you have to install it on the gun with a fully loaded mag. The round it picks up from the mag should slide up into place and be held by the extractor. You may have to reshape the bottom edge of the extractor so it funnels the round into it. Otherwise, the round will not slip under the extractor, but be pushed forward and the front usually flips up. Needs to do it smoothly so it does not stop the slide as well. I will see if I can find the YouTube video. Here, that might help some. Doesn't talk about shaping the nose of the extractor to slide over the rim, but there are quite a few diagrams and videos on Google about that as well.
  17. I had some issues with my CK slide and ejector. The hole for the ejector in the CK slide is very low compared to all my other 1911 slides. Both CK slide I have are like this. Most of my 1911,2011 slides have the ejector hole at about 9 o'clock looking at the breech face. My CK slides are at 7:00 I had to reshape the ejector and the pad on the ejector. No issues since. Not an Aftec though. Basically tuning the ejector to the slide. After doing this , I have had no ejection issues with 9 Major and even went back to standard CMore mount instead of the offset mount.
  18. There were only 2 in stock when I ordered mine...
  19. Shooters Connection. I shot a match last weekend and loved it. All my 1911 style guns will wear these from now on.
  20. I have a CK open 9 Major. New STI mags in both 140 and 170. Had issues with the 170 and switched to Grams 9/38S follower and springs, no more issues.
