  1. They are one and the same. Limited custom usually has vented slide (top side)
  2. I don’t have the measurements on me atm John but the AU S2 is essentially a DA Limited. Fairly certain the exact same length as the s3. I’ll measure it when I get the chance.
  3. The answer is going to be the conical bull barrel and people’s preference for it, that and hard chrome finish. In AU they are the same length. So the s2 is best of both worlds.
  4. SF s2 Xtreme here with med EG springs. Xtreme delta hammer. no issues with CCI
  5. That's what I thought but a rep said it was in a shot show 2017 video. Check out the 2017 tanfoglio catalogue.
  6. No way the limited is now polymer. Not a chance lol.
  7. Have used both you asked about. Very similar in both feel and size. S2X for me, the trigger improved also alot with minimal use. Ive left it as is, Xtreme medium springs 10lbs recoil spring (AU barrel/long slide). It lights off anything and is very smooth and nice, absolutely no problems putting the DA shot where it needs to be. The trigger debate can get a bit silly sometimes. The shadow 2 is most comparable to a Stock 3 Xtreme. In markets where they are equal price, I'd pick S2. In markets where the tanfo is significantly more expensive and your on a budget, shadow 2 represents good value or a S3X. All 3 are good to go.
  8. In small frame. The s3 and s2 with Xtreme grips feel extremely similar to shadow 2. If you liked the s1 shadow and it had the rubber palm swell grips chances are you'll want something bigger than the Xtreme grips. However, you will get used to either.
  9. In Australia they are the same length. I choose s2 Xtreme purely because of the conical bull barrel/ lock up arrangement Wouldn't mind or have a problem with an s3 though. They both are brilliant.
  10. Run DAA racers. Bullets forward. Can't fault them and come with spacers for almost any other mag if need be.
  11. We have had the limited custom for years here in Aus. hard chrome vented slide yes?
  12. My stock 2 xtreme does this. I never use the slide release. Lol.
  13. I'd say it's because on paper the shadow 2 is an improvement. But in reality they do the same job, and the improvements while nice for the seasoned shooter are just bettering an already effective system. personally I think the best upgrade is the frame checkering and the mag release.
  14. Cz and stock 2 are both great. you can get to the top with either if you train!!!
  15. Yes the frame crack statements that happened and were rectified in major guns are so old and irrelevant now it's just silly to bring up and misleading. oh an s3 v shadow 2. Pick your poison. Very similar really.
  16. Xtreme smooth. It wouldn't bother me if it was grooved though. I like the reach. Large hands.
  17. Pretty sure both s2 and s3 xtreme are fitted with Med in them. i have a s2X.
  18. Looks awesome and lol at the shadow comment.
  19. Think I'll add a s2 black Xtreme to the collection!!
  20. You will score more with the ladies if your rolling with a Tan that's a fact .
  21. It's the Xtreme base pads that don't stop the mag over inserting. Ironically the Aus 10rd mags have base pads that don't allow over insertion.
  22. I'm sure it's functional and the bonus is it looks really nice.
