My main attraction to the brass grips is the balance as the bogies are fantastic, but the shadow 2 is a little more front heavy than I like. Not that it really matter other than preference.

Thanks for the feedback. As I expected. I notice my black bogies are sharper than my light grey/black grips by a little. This is good information. Do you like the balance better with the brass grips?

That czechmate grip looks really good . Small update. Lok did respond. The answer was no customers that have bought the black grips have complained about the aggressivess and 30 day return if don’t like them. Does anyone here have the black grips? I shut wanna know if the feel the same as the raw brass before I order internationally. can anyone compare texture to bogies?

It definitely can make a difference depending on who applies it. However I think it’s more in how the parts are prepared for the cerakote than the cerakote itself.

They’re offered as a standard option on the brass palm swells on the site.

I’d like to know if the black cerakote ones direct from lok retain the same aggressiveness too. Have sent an email but no reply as of yet. It’s largely about who does the application.

Thank you for your message. Yes that’s the test. This stock 2 is the gen 1 trigger bar from memory and I’m suspecting it’s wear to the top two tabs of the trigger bar. A new trigger bar would make it an easy fix hopefully that will do it. In contrast I have a newer Xtreme stock 2 that will pass the test and suspect it’s the trigger bar differences/less wear also. I’ll have to get some photos of it.

I have a well used stock 2 that will not pass the Ipsc disconnector check. It will fire before full lock up. Can anyone tell me what I should look at to fix it? Or what I may need to do some fitting to? I feel there is something I’m missing and it’s been quite frustrating working out what. With a new hammer/disco and sear it also happens. Im fully confident to do whatever is necessary to get is fixed as I’m familiar with tearing them down to parts. Any help would be appreciated. I’d like to rejuvenate this gun for PDO if successful. As it still functions awesome overall, but need to to resolve this issue. In my part of the world sending it in to a pro shop is not possible unfortunately.

Tanfoglio make one that exact shape or there is the the unica one which is very similar or the same.

Can you tell us more about how you’ve milled the slide for the SRO and how it’s performing?

The pin on the right looks like my standard one and I will think it may well have deformed slightly. the Xtreme shape is better as it doesn’t allow this to happen as it has a dome like face and it is also longer.

Hi all looking for measurements on Tanfoglio small frame firing pin OAL. I know the Xtreme pins are slightly longer than the standard pin. Can some please post overall lengths of Xtreme and standard stock 2 pins for the small frame, any assistance is appreciated as I’m trying to determine if one of my stock 2’s requires a replacement. thank you

I have not run of the new ones. Yes it was shown on here before I believe that they are.

I have friends with palm swell and thin BC carbide grips. Both are great I think the palm swell are perfect for the spo1, I am a palm swell fan. I have experience with both model shadows and grips on the CZ’s. PM if need more info. The G10’s have only just came out haven’t tried them yet however. BC is a shooter at my club, top guy very supportive of ipsc.

They come with EG medium springs. The new ones have a longer stroke. Great choice you will love it.

Do both rigs use the same inserts? Inserts are specific to gun/mag type.
