  1. He won't be doing much shooting with zero in the barrel lol
  2. The new rules make it better. The 1sec PD just changes the measurements, not the game.
  3. If you get a thumbrest, then the table start wouldn't be an issue for the mag release. The thumbrest keeps the gun at enough of an angle not to depress it.
  4. In the northwest section of area 1, all of our clubs start at 10. Match setup is done the day before. Most of the clubs are fairly close to each other though. The 10 am start is nice. We do use concrete with pvc for walls, but fault lines and shooting boxes still have to be nailed in.
  5. I agree with the XDM. The XDM 9 competition model really feels good in my hand. I like them better than M&P because of that

I use Hornady XTP's. They seem to feed better than any other type in my 1911s.
  7. Should have brought the better backup along with the bad backup lol. After all, no weight limits when you're driving!
  8. Because trickling is a PITA! Using something like IMR 4064 that doesn't meter well requires trickling to some degree. That's where the electronic dispenser/scales have a big usability advantage.
  9. I also say go with the chargemaster. Air flow will disturb the reading though. I use the chargemaster and an rcbs 1010 beam. If you get the chargemaster, make sure you look up some of the tricks to make it run better, such as a short piece of a mcdonalds straw. See the link below for more. Chargemaster tricks!
  10. I also use FCD for all calibers I reload. The FCD for rifles uses a collet crimp which is nice.
  11. From what I have read, pistol brass shrinks instead of lengthening. how many times can you reload 45 brass?
  12. We have two atlas sponsored shooters in my area. I asked one of them about custom vs quick, and he said that the thing to add to the quick (2month) version is stroking the barrel (I'm not completely sure what that means lol)
  13. I love the thumbrest and the DAA holster. I'm only a mid c, but there's no muzzle pushing with the thumbrest with me. It feels more comfortable than without the thumbrest.
  14. They were very nice when you couldn't find LPP a few years ago
  15. Congrats Revo team and MWP!! I met your Dad at the idpa state match, awesome guy!
  16. Definitely Larry the Cable Guy, but you're in better shape
  17. I've had good luck with xtreme plated. I use 115gr 9's, 230 gr 45, and 180 gr 40. However, I just picked up a new blaster, and the gentleman who sold it to me had some 165 blue bullets to shoot. They were under major PF, but VERY accurate out of my new gun (6" 40.) I've ordered a few sample packs from blue bullets to try.
  18. Poggie is from my area! Go revo champs go!
  19. Bkreutz, your wife is AWESOME! I love seeing her at the matches with you. Earl
  20. This is only my 3rd year of competition, so I have lots of room for shirts haha
  21. Personally, I like to collect match shirts for the matches I go to. I don't have a desire for participation awards, I'd just stick them in a box somewhere and forget about them.
  22. some of the ones I know are silhouette and Winchester auto comp
  23. It's a good series, very trippy! Definitely worth watching!
  24. Nice. We may have met at some point. I do renton uspsa, pb, Marysville, and custer once in a while. I work in Issaquah, so can't get down to the Tuesday match (except for the sectional).
