  1. I second CLR. I mix it with distilled water, works great.
  2. 9 Major open gun. I moved to a Cmore on a 90 degree mount. Problem solved.
  3. I killed my 6 moa Razor on my open gun two times, each time it was on the first or second stage. Vortex fixed it the first time then sent me a brand new one. Love the optic but think open may be a little too much for the optic. I know guys who are running them on their open guns and no problems. Just my experience love the optic.
  4. Post your results on the Brazos ejector. I am looking at one myself.
  5. I have milled out several lowers with the 5D jig. They come out as good or better than lowers I have milled out on a vertical mill. The cuts are clean and precise. Now the only thing you are going to have to contemplate is a larger safe for the other 3 or 4 PCC's you are going to build. They are too much fun....
  6. I recently switched to a STI DVC Limited and have the same problem. Changing to a 9 pound recoil spring and paying more attention to my trigger pull and grip. I "should" be able to solve the problem. We will see.........
  7. I ordered a set of +.50 safety glasses. Enough magnification to see the front sight clearly and still have the target in focus. Just need to find them tinted now.
  8. I shoot limited minor 9mm. I will never be good enough to win any major awards. Plus I reload 9mm for my other guns and it just costs less. Just plain fun to shoot 9mm with 23 in the mag. Recoil is nice and easy to manage.
  9. What he said....Or a Cajunized CZ decocker. The decocker pistols can be slicked up without violating the production rules.
  10. 124 grain coated. Used to shoot FMJ but I get great results with coated (clean too) I load them at about 140 PF.
  11. My DVC Limited has the TiN in the ramp and is super shiny. Runs like a scalded dog!
  12. Good advice. Mix and match is dicey.
  13. +1 on the Posi-Lock. Great quality and works perfectly.
  14. What portion of the bolt does the side charger catch on. When one is used in the 5.56 the cam pin is changed. Does it catch on the gas key? Is this upper specific to a 9mm pattern carbine? Thanks ETA...I just found out my owner answer, my Google-Fu was not strong.
  15. Gas, Gas, Gas...The MPX needs it. I picked up a case of 115 grain Magtech 9mm. They are about 1158 FPS. MPX loves that load. Now I am duplicating that load on my Dillon.
  16. The belly of the 9mm bolt is shallower than a 5.56 bolt. A piece of tool steel needs to be silver soldered to the hammer adding about 5-10,000 to it. This will make it reliable. 15% silver solder. My CMC and Hipefire 24C both work in my AR 9mm carbines without the added metal but will fail to reset 1 or 2 times per match.
  17. Looks like the bolt is striking your mag. See if someone has another Glock PCC bolt and mic it. May be it is striking the mag until it fails.
  18. HSGI short (pistol) tacos work with everything. I run them with my Colt stick mags and have never had one fly out, not even close and I run around like a madman at matches.
  19. Hodgdon reloading data is what I used for that bullet in my PCC. I loaded it to max according to them. 4.2 gr of CFE behind a 147 RN HP bullet with Winchester primers 1.100 coal. I still need to tweet it. 33,000 chamber pressure. I had a case separate yesterday at a match. 3rd match with that load. Not a lot of difference between my other load. 124 gr Montana gold HP with 4.5 gr CFE 1.080 coal. Gotta load the Montana gold a bit shorter because of the ogive. My MG loads are about 865 fps. I have to chronograph the 147's.
  20. My Blem Spinta ran like a champ for 3 matches until the gas key cap screws sheered off. According to Spinta they had a batch of 9mm bolts that left and were not torqued properly. I emailed them at 11:30 pm est. and they replied in about 20 minutes. 10 minutes later I had a priority mail label emailed to me. Their customer service is top notch. The bolt was very nice except for the cap screws breaking. The only "blem" I could locate were some machining marks on a non critical area. They are definitely on my preferred retailer list.
