Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just got a MPA DS9 IDPA 2011 and forgot that I used an extended slide stop on my Dan Wesson PM9. I plan to use this in IDPA where slide lock reloads are the norm. This is my first 2011 so forgive my ignorance. Do any 1911 extended slide stops fit 2011s? I saw some people mention the Triarc slide stops but they’re out of stock. Just wondering what my options are and I understand I may need a smith to fit it. Thanks
  2. Just picked mine up today. Great gun but I’m surprised that the grips aren’t more grippy. Kinda bummed about that. And I’d like an extended slide stop but not sure if any one will fit

    Lok grip texture

I run the checkered texture and find those are plenty aggressive for my needs.
  4. Certainly possible! Can't blame him for going that route.
  5. This guy is now on his 3rd shadow 2! His frame is like a toxic waste dump
  6. Elmer's glue or maybe some Gorilla glue?......
  7. I just got off the phone with Cajun. He said I had 2 options. Have him mill a relief cut and void the warranty OR send it back for a replacement and loose the nicer nitride finish. I told him I don’t care about the finish so let’s just send it back. David was confident that if he milled the relief cut, it would solve the issue. Originally he had said that it’s a very light crack and it will not get any worse. I quickly told him that isn’t true as there are numerous photos online showing pieces of metal actually breaking off. It was tempting to have him mill it as I’d probably have the gun back pretty quickly. But I would be nervous about voiding the warranty if anything happened later. Now I play the waiting game as David had no idea how long it would take to get a replacement.
  8. I sure hope so! But I know Cajun is busy. Hopefully they can quickly get it cajunized once the replacement arrives.... I’m in lovely MA...
  9. I was in a panic trying to figure out what to do. I knew CZ would replace the gun under warranty but then I'd be out all of the money on getting it cajunized, new sights etc. Cajun is the best. I just hope I can get the replacement in time for Area 7 in June...If not, my cajunized SP-01 Shadow will have to suffice.
  10. My arcore finish (made in 2016) S2 developed a crack I bought it directly from Cajun gun works in March 2017 and they're having me ship it back to them so they can send it back to CZ. Really sucks. But cajun is making it right and will upgrade/cajunize the replacement S2 they receive from CZ.
  11. Now for cyber Monday Brownells has 10% off plus free shipping on all orders.
  12. $110 shipped for Win primers is a smoking deal. That’s way below what powdervalley sells them for. They start at $28 I believe.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Just ordere 20k myself. $24 per 1k is the lowest I’ve ever spent on primers. Fiocchi can be found that cheap locally but I try to stick wirh CCI and Win.
  14. Steven just private messaged me on FB and said to call PD on Monday if I’m looking to order using the code. Take that for what it’s worth.
  15. Yup it expired. Sorry!! It was posted on Saturday (on Facebook from Steven Sanders who works at PD. He just told me it expired. Lame.
