  1. Misunderstood as you said 4 shots. However total time would still be 6 seconds 100 points = 16.66...
  2. 06-03 can you count is 5 shots on each target, reload and 5 on the second target. Using your times that would be a 3.3 second run per string - hit factor 15.15 with all A's. (100 points/6.6 seconds)
  3. 180 gr, feels soft, and is accurate in my pistol. YMMV Some prefer the 180, some prefer the 200, some the 165, try a few and see what you like best.
  4. I probably have more 38SC in my un-sorted brass from match pick ups, that is only the ones I am sure about. For 9mm I have sold and given away so much I had to start collecting it again.
  5. You could send it to me... I would give it a good home. (I have and shoot a 38SC, built when the 9mm Major was still being worked out, it has been flawless. Too expensive to switch right now with other projects going on. New barrel and comp plus fitting unless I did it, would not be worth it right now, and I have about 3 - 4000 SC cases right now.) (I have about 3 - 4000 9mm cases also, will be using those for production.) Now I need more bullets...
  6. Where in NM, I ask because we have a rifle match the first Saturday of every 2cd month near Show Low AZ. (Next one July 6th, one stage may have a few pistol shots required.)
  7. Voted No also because of the word 'required', would have voted yes if the wording was 'Should spectators be quiet before the buzzer'.
  8. Cameron's works, Cheely probably, maybe a few others. (Location of the holes in the frame affects this). If your frame is drilled already contact one of the above and they can probably custom drill one for you. Also ask them about the RHT. Have not needed to heat the mount screws on any mount I have installed, most use Blue locktite in this location. Red (which needs heat) on the compensator (some use hi-temp green on comp).
  9. 10.4 Match Disqualification – Accidental Discharge A competitor who causes an accidental discharge must be stopped by a Range Officer as soon as possible. An accidental discharge is defined as follows: 10.4.1 A shot, which travels over a backstop, a berm or in any other direction, specified in the written stage briefing by the match organizers as being unsafe. Note that a competitor who legitimately fires a shot at a target, which then travels in an unsafe direction, will not be disqualified (the provisions of Section 2.3 may apply). 10.4.2 A shot which strikes the ground within 10 feet of the competitor, except when shooting at a paper target closer than 10 feet to the competitor. 10.4.2.1 Exception — A bullet which strikes the ground within 10 feet of the competitor due to a “squib”. ... 10.4.6 A shot which occurs during movement, except while actually shooting at targets. (This is the exception, unless the shot goes in an unsafe direction as in 10.4.1) Yes, you need the Range Master. 7.1.6 Range Master (“RM”) – has overall authority over all persons and activities within the entire range, including range safety, the operation of all courses of fire and the application of these rules. All match disqualifications and appeals to arbitration must be brought to his attention. The Range Master is usually appointed by and works with the Match Director, however, in respect of USPSA sanctioned Level III and Nationals matches, the appointment of the Range Master is subject to the prior written approval of the Director of NROI. 10.3.2 When a match disqualification is issued, the Range Officer must record the reasons for the disqualification, and the time and date of the incident, on the competitor’s score sheet, and the Range Master must be notified as soon as possible. Edited for clarity
  10. I use the grip from a S&W .500 on my 625. It helped a lot in keeping the gun from beating up the web on my hand. (Got the idea from Neal.)
  11. Also see appendix E3, it shows the position of the holster and gear, (wrong type holster for USPSA, however correct placement).
  12. There are some installation videos on youtube, (sorry can't access them at work). Also check to see it the front sight is supposed to mount on the gas block.
  13. It should also be checked as to size if a plate came with it. (27074 doesn't come up in a search on Dillon Precision.)
  14. A Dillon should come with one plate. The size should be on the package.
  15. Sounds like this could be a re-shoot, I would refer it to the RM, (and cite the rule above).
  16. The ones I used at Motorola were, they were a kind of foam tip (this didn't shred or particulate easily). I have seen some like this now being made for gun cleaning. Kind of like these - http://www.amazon.com/Tape-Head-Cleaning-Swab-pack/dp/B001E63LSC or these - http://www.bearmetalclean.com/
  17. Check bullet weight consistency (which can affect accuracy) and if you can check the diameter at the tip of the hollow point check that. For OAL consistency on the press side check your seating die for cleanliness and make sure it is locked down. Check your shell plate tightness. (Also note there is a difference in OAL when the press is full verses one at a time.)
  18. I ordered a case feeder and 2 extra plates on Friday, I got them yesterday! Thank you Brian.
  19. Also on shoot-thrus the grease mark tells the story. (On the rare load/gun that doesn't make a grease mark I understand, most do though. (I would guess >95% do)). The real reason for the re-shoot in this case is the change to the course of fire as mentioned earlier.
  20. I like this one Brian. Very true. Too bad I don't live in the valley anymore, Tuesday night steel was a blast. (Also too bad we don't have steel matches up here, maybe after the new range gets started... )
  21. Nice to hear from you, sorry no tips. If I find anyone at work that had it I will ask.
  22. Techwell and CMC mags. (I trim the front of mag to go in the techwell.) (I had the mags first and they are reliable).
  23. Had one that did this after the pin in the nose of the hammer fell out. (Long time ago and it was a titanium hammer, that hammer lasted about 1 season.)
  24. Re-shoot for both as StraightUp_OG said. The prop was modified after the attempt on the course of fire and could influence the score of the shooter. (It affected when the no-shoots activated and therefore 'the physical or procedural change results in a loss of competitive equity'.) (Prior to the change the shooter could deliberately or otherwise activate part of the no-shoot siwngers, after the change they could not.) 2.3.3.2 If possible, require all competitors to complete the course of fire as revised with all previous attempts removed from the match scores. (if not possible see rule 2.3.4). Edited for clarity.
