Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Here is a sneak peak at the Wold Shoot, Dry Fit Polos that the R.O.s will be sporting.
  2. Maybe its my old age, but Id like something a bit brighter. Anyone know of a good replacement? Small Review: I LOVE IT!!!! Coming from a Glock 26, which was great for EDC, this is just perfect. It is thin enough where it disapears in my front pocket. I had the trigger spring kit installed from PRP and, while it is not a HUGE difference, it is a nice difference. It dropped the poundage maybe 1 to 1.5, but the nice thing, is it is just much smoother of a pull. I also had the sand grips installed, and that was a nice touch as well. It shot much better with it than I expected at the steel challenge today. I still have to dial it in on paper, but over all, everytime I pulled the trigger the steel made that lovely "Ping" sound, so I was not complaining. Thanks Mondo
  3. 1 More question. One of the main reasons I was looking into the XD instead of 1911 or 2011, was because, from my understanding it would require much less maintenance. I love my glocks. I can go months without a good cleaning and it always goes boom when I pull the trigger (i'm not a big fan of the trigger). So I was thinking the XD would kind of be the best of both worlds. A similar trigger to a 1911, yet much less maintenance. Am I off base on this? Thnx mondo
  4. I have a Glock 17 with a drop in trigger kit, and while it is better, the pre-travel is quite long as well as VERY slushy. It is a ton better than the factory trigger set up, but am looking for something better. Id like a 2011/1911 but they are a bit out of my price range at the moment. In speaking with a gun smith/friend (who is not in the same town Im in), he states he can get the trigger on the XDm, to be very short, light and crisp. He said it would be night and day difference when compared to the Glock and more similar (not the same as) to a 1911. What are your thoughts? Thanks mondo
  5. As you can tell, I am quite novice to the competitive shooting and was wondering on what the difference in Major and Minor shooting. I know the difference is the PF (Power Factor), but why is that an issue? What advantage (Im assuming there is one) is there to shooting Major over Minor? Thanks again Mondo
  6. Got it. So what would a 2011, STI that has a mag well, compensator and using iron sites be classified as?
  7. So what is allowed on a limited gun? Compensator, Extended magwell, red dot, etc.....
  8. I have the SteelMaster and LOVE it! But am wanting to get something to shoot production. Id love to have the same gun, but without the compensator and red dot. Any ideas??? Thanks Mondo
  9. Apologies. I'm a bit new to the sport. What 9mm minor from sti would you recommend that can shoot 9mm off the shelf?
  10. What model 2011 STI pistol would be great for Production class (and shoots off the shelf 9mm)? Thank you Mondo
  11. Correct, I will be using these for 3Gun (close encounters) Ill be testing them out this weekend. Ill post a quick review afterwords. Thnx mondo
  12. I was hoping someone could help me out with the XS "XTI" sights for the AR. I bought them a bit ago and just put them on the ar tonight. But the front dot sits extremely high from the back V. I tried moving them closer and farther apart and they are still way off. Only if I put them right next together does the dot sit right on the V. Are there adjustments or something else I am missing? Any help would be much appreciated as I have a 3gun match this sat. Thanks Mondo
  13. After how many rounds do you oil, maintain, completely disassemble your 2011? thnx Mondo
