  1. Large plate is what Enos recommends for .40
  2. Apparently I have a ridiculously fast barrel. (KKM TiN coated) 5" FGW 9mm with 3 holes 1.160 OAL 124gr PD JHP CCI SPP 7.0 grain Autocomp 179 PF average of 20 rounds
  3. I really love the consistency of 3N38 though it can be a pain to load on my 650 as the case is quite full. Data is from my FGW 5" 9mm with 3 holes... 115gr PD JHP 1.160 OAL CCI SPP 9.2 grains 3N38 173PF 124gr PD JHP 1.160 OAL CCI SPP 8.8 grains 3N38 175PF
  4. Sorry guys that was a typo, 1.145 OAL.
  5. I run PD 124 JHP's at 1.16 OAL out of my FGW 5". They are fantastically accurate bullets and that OAL allows for any powder, even 9.0 grains of 3N38
  6. 147gr Xtreme .356's 3.5gr Ramshot Competiton Fed SPP 1.145 OAL 130PF out of my CZC Accushadow and 2014 Custom
  7. I checked out Springer's pads yesterday, they are a very clever design and look well made.
  8. That brass is absolute garbage. It has an internal ridge about 1/4 up the case. I have had (3) pieces of brass split in half in my chamber (before I realized the brass was the problem, I now throw ever piece in the trash). Ammoland, IMT, FM it's all absolute garbage. It's some short cut in the manufacturing process that allows them to save a cent or two during production. Don't even think of loading these if you are shooting 9 major. It's a recipe for a frustrating trip home from the range!
  9. I agree with everyone else. CZC extensions for sure. Those in conjunction with the CZC large magwell are awesome
  10. At Equivalent PF I find N320 to be both softer and significantly cleaner than Titegroup. I don't have any data for 220's though.
  11. I've run .358 147gr Blue Bullets in my Accu. They don't case gauge for #$%& but they shoot quite accurately.
  12. To those that have the match gauge, what is your rejection rate with mixed range brass? I'm worried about the disclaimer "This gauge could be frustrating if you reload and shoot any old range pickup brass in a loose chambered production gun."
  13. Great info, I'm sold. What ammo boxes do you recommend to flip into? Dillon, MTM etc. etc...
  14. Silhouette meters very consistently and is significantly cleaner than HS6. I run 7.5gr Sil with 124gr JHP's 1.16OAL and magnum primers at 174PF.
  15. So, the gauge does well with mixed range brass?
  16. I really like the price and accuracy of the precision delta 124gr JHP's.

    HiTek coating

I've shot both hi-tek coated and the blue bullets through my FGW 5" with 3 holes. They work fine and I see no degradation in accuracy but I definitely have to clean more vs jacketed or plated w/ the holes.
  18. Wet tumble as I have to clean my 650 about half as often. Happy press, happy gun, happy life.
  19. I run .357 diameter Xtreme 147gr bullets w/ 3.37gr n320 @ 1.145 OAL. Pretty soft, exceptionally clean and very accurate. I would leave it be.
  20. Too much crimp is the #1 cause of accuracy issues with plated bullets.
  21. Gooldylox- I'm running an 8# variable in the 2011. Exactly, nobody seems to be in agreement in respect to the factory spring rate. Hopefully Stuart will chime in...
