    Should I clean my TSO?

Can't argue about what happens at the local level in Slovakia or Belarus because a. don't care b. 'Murica but my wiki skills have found that of the last 24 medals awarded at the IPSC world shoot in the standard division, 20 of them have been won by, wait for it.......Americans. Now I know that not all of said citizens are using 2011s but I would hazard a guess that probably not too many filthy TSOs were on the podium while the star-spangled banner was playing. Now enough trolling... I really like CZ. I carry one (PCR) so a serious question for you: given the ready adoption of CZs in the production division and and the relative low cost of the TSO for Limited, why the negligible usage in USPSA?

    Should I clean my TSO?

This would explain the domination of the TSO at major matches. Wait....what...
  3. I took the plunge. Could not wait any longer for the Romeo max. About 1100 rounds so far. Dot is really bright.. I can't turn it up all the way, even in the bright Florida sun. Indoors, I use it on lowest setting.. It has held zero even though there is no locking screw. The adjustment clicks are tactile. I like the brightness adjustment--similar to the RTS2. Glass is clear and free of any tint. I am using on a DoubleTap mount without a blast shield on a V8 Akai. Glass doesn't get dirty. Ships from Winnipeg but I had mine in a week. So far, I would highly recommend. I am not sponsored by FTP.
  4. This. No one has probably been hurt by a shot going over the berm into a conservation area but it is still a DQ
  5. that would be great...I could wear my tactical lobster claw gloves on those chilly mornings at the range. They don't make 'em because the overwhelming majority of shooters, GM or otherwise, have figured out that it is probably not the best grip option

    Thumb rest

I have one on all 3 of my Open guns. It allows my medium size hand to be in a relaxed position without the thumb being more vertical like the gogogun. I have used the RHT and liked it but the pad is too small. I have also tried the original nitrofin and the newer 2.0 model. I have spent way too much time changing thumb rests. I have stuck with the IPSC Alex. I wouldn’t mind trying the Akai ...
  7. For those of you who have done this to a double alpha or CRspeed belt, what are you using to cut the belt? Are you doing anything to the rough end to prevent unraveling?
  8. I was having similar issues. Length was at 1.260 and "the plunk test" was fine, but feeding was awful. Deceased OAL to 1.245" and had a jam free match yesterday. Everglades 124g JHP Mix of MBX, STI gen 1 and gen 2
  9. Done. Problem solved. Thanks to all who offered suggestions
  10. I have a mid length 38SC tungsten sleeve, PT EVO grip and a Limcat magwell. With an RTS2 it is 60.2 oz
  11. I think this might be the answer because the STI followers work. The grams do not
  12. I tried this. It does not fall. However, when I put the original STI springs and followers in, it drops perfectly As suggested above, I tried swapping the magazine releases between the two groups. Even though they are both PT evo grips, the magazine releases do not fit in the opposite grip...strange
  13. change the indexing arm spring. Whenever the arm starts missing the holes on the disk, this seems to be the problem on my 650
  14. I have 2 2011's with identical PT steel grips Gun 1 has extended magazine release MBX and STI gen 1 no problems STI gen 2 wont drop an empty mag but no issues with 1 or more rounds left in the magazine Gun 2 has non-extended release MBX, STI gen 1 and 2 drop free All mags have Grams guts and springs have low mileage. Is this due to the different mag release? Not really understanding this...
  15. To be clear, instead of changing to a flat paint to accommodate the BOCs with equilibrium issues, the MD decided to establish a fault line strategy, that while possibly legal, is counter to what the rest of the shooting sports world has adopted as the norm. Sounds legit.
  16. I took a chance and ordered one today. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed.
  17. I am interested in this optic. Can’t seem to find much in the way of reviews. Any non-sponsored shooters get one yet?
  18. Same. It is significantly smoother than my Alpha X with a PT block
  19. I started on 9. First shooter (Open) hit the right popper 5 times before it went down. Another open shooter won a calibration call and got a reshoot.
  20. Rhetorical question: why 2 separate pieces of paper? Just combine them!
  21. No, don't let the inmates take over the asylum. Not returning is absolutely the wrong answer unless there are other viable options tissue to shoot a match on the same day. If this happened to me, I would go back and make sure the RM/MD didn't let this guy RO again until he proved a clear demonstration of knowledge of the rules
