  1. Apples to Oranges. 6 ARC is for max performance within AR15 mag limitations. 6CM is max performance with an AR10 mag. 6ARC will have longer barrel life, less powder used, lower recoil and fit in the smaller guns. 6CM is better ballistically but has all the drawbacks associated with ballistic performance.
  2. The lower they had pictured is not a standard glock mag receiver. So if the lower is proprietary, and the upper definitely is, there won't be any way to retrofit it into existing guns.
  3. McGowen and X-Caliber will do 7mm-08. I've got barrels from both companies, very pleased with them.
  4. Cool to see someone not too far from me on this site.
  5. The owner, @MarkCO used to be pretty active here. Still see him on some 3 gun FB groups on occasion.

Wondering also. I see the green one has a thumb rest, but that's all I noticed without really studying them.

Which ones are the fancy ones? I thought it was just three different SKU's, with color being the main differentiating feature.
  8. No. It's just the same 8 guys that crash every shotgun thread that has ever existed.
  9. You're missing the point. Compliance matters above all else.
  10. Just pay more taxes. With a little more money they'll finally get their act together.
  11. There's a few out there, most companies don't list the specs though. All the companies I listed above have them, I think the ADM is called the X Recon or something, JP has two different lengths.
  12. The Odin Zulu probably has the squishiest pad I've seen on an AR stock. RPR take off stocks have some squish too. Just be aware that you probably won't notice the extra cushion on a 223 AR, and that the recoil pad is probably the least meaningful thing you can do to change the way an AR feels.
  13. ADM's are good, the Vortex precision mount is good, JP's are good.. Lots of stuff under $200 that I trust a lot more than the Aero's I have. I always get the longest cantilever available. You can always move it back, but you can't stretch it once you run out upper to mount it on.
  14. I try to limit my social media participation in any shooting sport. They all have their drama and crybabies, but if you just go to the matches and shoot and leave it all at the range you might not ever notice. There does seem to be more online drama centered around PRS but it's not nearly as bad while actually shooting the match.
  15. I just can't get into the Eclipse for 3 gun. I like it in my PCC when it's all about close range splits though. Still thinking the Calvin Elite or Elftmann 3 gun are the top of the 3 gun food chain when you require speed and precision.
  16. Good to hear something about it. I recently got a TT Diamond for a precision rifle but for funsies I attempted to use it like a 3 gun trigger. No dice, I can't get used to the non existent reset force.
  17. I suppose the jam nut doesn't fit the BSF barrel diameter does it. Good to hear about the bipod, a lot of early reviews complained about them getting loose, they must've tuned them up a little since then.
  18. Brake is upside down. How do you like the Caldwell bipod? Thinking about getting one for one of the kids rifles.
  19. I once hoisted Froelich's rifle out of a dump barrel. It almost pulled me in. I think he said it was around 13lbs and he wouldn't have it any other way. His PCC is similar.
