  1. I have two of the exact same benches next to each other. Perfect height. Incredibly sturdy. Amazing value.
  2. Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Only had mine for about a year now, but they've been rock solid. Did you end up going with someone else for customs?
  3. Get the one that fits your hand the best. Don't get caught up in minor specifics of one technical physical advantage over the other. Both are capable guns. You'll perform better with the one that sits more naturally with you.
  4. What's the typical lead time on an SVI these days? I thought it was a year-ish?
  5. Vanek All day long. I have several glocks and bought several production legal triggers over the years....once I found Vanek, I switched ALL my glocks to them. Even my daily carry.
  6. Here's some of what's worked in my RPR Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. IMHO... Get a 650 and you will likely never replace it. Get a 550 then look to upgrade to a 650 in a few years. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Another endorsement for the Giraud/650 setup. That's what I reload for 3gun on. Just be careful what you put in the Giraud...anything that doesn't have near zero run-out (ie: every piece of brass you've picked up from the range), will not evenly chamfer.
  9. This is an excellent resource to calculate ring height - http://www.mil-rad.com/scope_ring_calculator FWIW, don't try and get a mm of clearance as the inherent flex in the optics/mount/firearm can cause the optics to touch on firing. As a point of reference, I used the above to calculate that I needed the Seekins High 34mm rings for my RPR 6.5. Clearance was perfect.
  10. Any idea as to why adjusting with the handle down is superior to the handle up...?

  14. Anyone heard of this thing before? Fast Brass The latest episode of the Reloading Podcast had the inventor on... Sounded very interesting....until he said it cost upwards of $2000... Apparently they just started shipping in April 2016....just not to me. I like the idea and can't fault the guy for the cost since he's a one man shop...but that's alot of dough for brass prep! Overview... Here's one in action...
  15. A little off topic....but a MD in Kinesiology?
  16. Agree with this. There are crap tons of posts out there with good load data. That's where I started. Just check everything you read against a manual.

  19. I am strong proponent of the multiple single stage setup! I've got three next to each other....typically on use two at a time though. When loading rifle, I use one to load, then one with the Redding Comparator dies to check seating depth, headspace, whatever... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Give it some time. Likely an intended bug that'll be fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
