  1. Well I am just a "regular guy" made Master in limited in the late 90's.. that gave me an A In open with a B avarage right up until I retired from limited 2 years ago.. took me 12 mounths to drag the Open avarage up In to A after that limited retirement... running with 3 100% and 3 86-87% classifers In PCC with a M card..one more good one an it would bump me to GM and drag me to M Open... Usually place 7-4 th @ level 2-3 matches in A, sometimes high senior.. I see issues in all the divisions caused by the lack of matintantnce to the HHF for years ...PCC just cast a bit more light on It..
  2. I showed 2 examples of regular guys ( Not National champions ) across 3 divisions that have HF 10-17% over current HHF's .. so why is it OK to change PCC % based on HHF reset and not apply the same standard to ALL divisions?
  3. Another example 5 OPEN/ Limited over 100% (105.11-117.81%): https://azshooters.org/shooter?uspsa=L3065
  4. Problem is you have issues with HHF's in all the divisions ( on a on a smaller scale) Production is probably the worst. I have seen numerous GM's shoot 103- 115+ % on classifiers but it is entered as 100% so someone shooting a 95-100% isn't real it is squed 10-25%. Do you do the same retroactive adjustments in all the Pistol divisions when the new HHF's are done? one example 4 classifiers over 100% ( 102.73- 110.72%): https://azshooters.org/shooter?uspsa=A40144
  5. Agreed, but that will never happen. USPSA dropped the ball when they decided : 1. Start the division with Open HHF without looking at how some Classifiers would be easier and some harder with a PCC 2. Allowed the PCC classification to affect the pistol classifications. #1. Will be addressed when the HHF scrub is completed BUT as in the past it will not change any scores already entered in the system #2. Is impossible to address without some % of shouters being upset options would be: A.Delink PCC and Pistol, what do you do with everyone that got a bump due to PCC? if you undo the bumps a % will be pissed and a % will be happy. making it a voluntary thing wouldn't be fair and would be an administrative nightmare. B. Call it a provisional thing an reset EVERYONE to ZERO when you make PCC an official division with adjusted real PCC HHF's? a % will be pissed that they wasted all the work put in to PCC already and a % will be happy that they can start over from ZERO. But again what do you do with the existing Pistol bumps from PCC? Great division and I love shooting it along with OPEN, but the introduction was poorly planed and executed.
  6. My reloads and my preferred 3 factory loads all are 160-163 PF.....
  7. Pure price on the 124 GR in .38SC. Prefer 115 GR @ 1410 FPS in the MPX and like the profile on the Everglades plus the price is better than the RMR 115GR..
  8. switched from MG to this RMR last year for .38 SC: https://rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets-for-reloading/new-rmr-9mm-124-grain-jacketed-hollow-point-made-in-house-by-rmr/?v=7516fd43adaa Use this Everglades 115gr for 9mm in my MPX: http://www.evergladesammo.com/bullets/handgun-bullets/9mm-124gr-jhp-rn-v2.html
  9. N340 5.4gr 124gr JHP (Rocky Mountain Reloading) 1290 fps N340 5.9gr 115gr JHP (Everglades Ammo) 1410 fps In a Sig MPX the loads duplicate Speer TMJ factory ammo per each bullet weight
  10. 1. Sig MPX, Carbine (13.7" + flash hider = 16"), Geissele SD3G, Lancer carbon fiber handguard, Next Level Armament MPX Ambi Charge Handle and Block Kit 2. 115gr Everglades JHP 3. 5.9gr N340 @ 1410FPS 4. CCI SPP 5. 1.125 OAL 6. Very reliable 7. 2.5" @ 100 yds 8. Shoots soft and Flat 9. Split times? don't keep track vary often but have seen 0.10 on the clock in a match 10. Dot movement? Flat
  11. So put the laser where you need it along the top rail to wrap your thumb behind it.
  12. VV340 is slower than HS6/ WW540 that is an accepted burn rate for open (9 Major in particular) VV340 burn rate is is equal to Silhouette / WAP, SR4756 that are an accepted burn rate for open also. Yes 3N37, 3N38 and N105 are better but if I was ever inclined to do 9 Major N340 would be my power of choice, but I am happy staying with .38SC
  13. Response I got back on 2/2/16: Yes, the list specifies that ported models can be used, provided the barrel was not ported, and the CORE handguns are on the list. The performance center CORE models are approved. Does this cover the M&P CORE performance center ported models as being USPSA production / CO legal, provided the ported barrel is replaced? I know I asked S&W to certify them to you a few months ago just wondering if this good to go now as they (S&W) consider it a CORE. Thanks, Kevin L FY24902

  15. Using 3N38. I think N105 is better but the nonavailability of 4LB packages kills the cost. Have used 3N37 but it has presser spikes in high heat so I don't want to deal with a special load for summer time. SP2 is as good as N105 but no longer imported.

  17. Well the the CORE Performance Center model is the only ported version that S&W manufactures, see attached email from Troy: Troy McManus [mactiger@eatel.net] Yes, the list specifies that ported models can be used, provided the barrel was not ported, and the CORE handguns are on the list. The performance center CORE models are approved. 18. That is the one I am trying, Used it first time in a match yesterday. I think it is useful on certain targets and light levels, It is extremely small and low profile. I hit a sale price of $139 with a $50 rebate so @ $89 ea the 2 I ordered were a good deal for my 2 MPX's.
  19. I was running a Geissele B-GRF , while cleaning I noticed some abnormal ware on the disconnect hook on the back of the hammer. Pulled it and returned it, replaced with a Geissele SD-3G.
  20. Yea.. that 125GR Sig JHP is the only bullet I use for the last 5 years. I like it way better than the 124GR JHP (TC) and use it in .3SC and 9MM (PPC 160 PF).
  21. I have about 7,000 rounds on a Geissele B-GRF, No issues yet.
  22. .198 is standard for castings. Most custom builders us a billet and or hardened .200. .197 is undersized, if the lugs were fit correctly to a .197 then you may have a tighter lock up on the bigger diameter or you may have a interference in the lock up. going to a smaller diameter from what was used for the initial lock up can cause issues with link breakage. End result is if you change from what the gun was built with the following needs to be checked: lock up on the bottom feet lock up on the top ribs link clearance rear and down barrel lug impact to the frame ramp on unlock ( I.E Timing)
