  1. The 14lb ISMI feels a lot like a 13lb Wolff
  2. Since early January the Optics guys I talked to had always said the end of the quarter. I checked in a couple of weeks ago and heard that they weren't still on target for an April release with the adapter plates coming a couple months after.
  3. With a Wolff 13lb I had issues at around 4k rounds. Best to swap them out regularly. Bruce said every 2k is a good idea. I had a Wolff 12lb in a backup gun. It ran fine but the there wasn't much force there to close the chamber. I think it's a touch too light. Right now Iran running a 14lb ISMI and it seems to be good.

Provided they don't change external dimensions, a drop in trigger should be 100% production legal. Bruce now has away to use a factory trigger in his system until such time as his two new trigger styles become Production legal in their own.

Bruce froze changes about a week ago and a believe SIG has signed off as well. They should be getting produced now.
  6. Wonder why they are so similar. LOL Yeah, it's really strange. The Romeo3 looks just like an updated C-More RTS2 too. Small world in optics I guess.
  7. From a spec sheet it looks like the SIG Romeo1 is going to be very comparable with the DeltaPoint-Pro but at a much better price point. It's a 3 MOA which concerned me but it's good to hear that the brightness is compensating for that. The Romeo1 is supposed to start shipping on guns in April with the adapter kit models following a couple months later. Specs are strangely similar. Top load battery, click adjustments, motion activated, adjustable brightness, two piece mount to lock in the lenses. The only big difference I see is the name, and that the Romeo1 has a notch cut in the back like a rear iron sight versus the DPP that has an optional adjustable sight attachment.
  8. Unless you aren't dual or quad loading I don't think the A5 lifter needs to be welded. It isn't nearly as wicked as what comes on most other guns and I have never caught anything on it.

I just wanted to share the good news that Mason Lane just made Production GM with his P320. Mason has been on fire and actually hit Master class with a bone stock model. He joins A.J. Stuart who hit GM with the P320 last season.
  10. Springer Precision had some very nice plus 10 extensions for the SIG MPX that bring capacity up to 40.

  12. You can put in a request through the Team SIG page. From there they could take it to our SIG POC as an action item. It won't guarantee that it gets taken care of but it not a bad way to go.http://teamsigsauer.com/contact/
  13. Grayguns has sent many thousands of triggers to SIG so they should be well beyond 2k for the numbers made. You just need to request for SIG to submit them to DNROI.
  14. The silencer prohibition is interesting but I get it. Could that language requiring firing from the shoulder. Could that causes an issue on some stage where you had to manipulate the gun using one hand or were otherwise in some awkward position where you couldn't get the stock on your shoulder? I don't want to see someone trying to find a ruling if a legal PCC gun is fired while not at the shoulder even though this would be the method used for the vast majority of shooting.
  15. I would be against creating two division with iron or optics. Irons are not that much slower on the longer gun at short distances, optics are readily available and easy to mount, and we don't need to add yet another division.
  16. SIG has been supporting a lot of matches for a long time. I am not sure what you are talking about with sacking gas. I haven't noticed that shooting my MPX but I am also not shooting it suppressed. Do you feel the same way about shooting ARs?
  17. I have four mags now as well. I bought two Springer Precision plus 10 extensions for them. I should have ordered some of the blade tech mag pouches from SIG while I was at it too. Strangely enough I found out today that the free holster that comes with the P320 makes a frighteningly good MPX mag pouch if you have nothing else available.
  18. Register your MPX on the SIG website and you get a one-time use code for 20% off at the SIG store. That will let you stock up on magazines at $55 each.
  19. Wyoming Arms is making some very nice barrels in 6.5. You would have to give them a call to discuss details but it would be well worth it. Precision ARs are their thing. http://wyomingarms.com
  20. I am glad you are enjoying the MPX and the SIG Romeo3. I think the fact that it's a rotating bolt versus a blowback gives it a very different feel that the others on the market. Mine shoots great but I haven't had a chance that I test it yet with the new brake. Maybe Friday I can get out.

  22. I have been running the Lancer Nitrus or the Seekins ATC. Testing the out the excellent $55 Obsidian Arms Thunder Brake Compensator on my backup rifle. It's definitely my favorite budget brake. http://www.obsidianarms.com/product-p/oatbc.htm
  23. I think it have seen someone do this on the SIG SAUER P320 Facebook group.
