  1. Zero just filled a 2.5 million bullet order for Fiochi.
  2. I've never bought any Armscor brass. All the AP 38 super brass I've used has been found on the range. With that out of the way, all the AP brass I've loaded and shot has worked fine out of my pistols, but that hasn't been that large a sample to base a comprehensive test on.
  3. I remember the Boston Popps with Aurthur Fiedler doing the 1812 Overture with an assist by the Ma. National Guard back in '76, I think. It was so memorable that 30 years later I still remember.
  4. Most of the stations I refuel at cut off at $75.00, except one that cuts off at 74.00. Where did those morons get that number? Still my little truck ( F-350 longbed crewcab ) has a 42 gal tank, oh and an aux tank considerably larger. I have to swipe twice no mater what I do. Usually I just go inside and give them a 100.
  5. Cold Steel makes a spear, COLD STEEL CUTLERY BOAR SPEAR 18.5" SPEAR HEAD 71" PREMIUM ASH HANDLE in stock at Midsouth Shooters Supply for 47.00
  6. I placed an order on the 7th. Received stuff on the 9th. OUTSTANDING service. Thanks
  7. If you want to try the gold team, you might just keep your eyes open. I bought one from a local shooter, who didn't want to tinker with it. I gave much less than list.
  8. Dawson keeps trubors in stock as well.
  9. Are you loading on a Dillon? If you are ( or are using the Redding Pro Series Dies ) the expanding is done at the powder measure. There is no separate expander die. Or it could be something completely different.
  10. If that was Japan, it was probably a reality TV show racing pandas down the sidewalk.
  11. But the Grandmaster has the color inlay in the slide. That and the serrations cost big bucks don't ya know. As far as the extra QC after test fire, you could buy from Dawson ( Biased plug here ) and he will do the test fire and QC and do a better job IMHO. Go for the Trubor with an Ice Magwell and get it chromed
  12. I have a Lyman bullet puller made by Quinetics. I've had it since the mid 80's. I did replace the collet with the new Quinetics twist lock, but that is the only thing replaced. I have beaten it on all kinds of things. Wood, steal, aluminum, brass, concrete what ever was handy. It doesn't look pretty and the aluminum handle has a slight bend in it, but I expect it to be going strong for another 20 years.
  13. Howdy All, I've been using a CR Speed Holster for my Gold Team and I didn't like it. After harassing Angus about the proper Ghost Holster for it, I received the holster today. The Ghost holster fits the Gold Team much better than the CR Speed. I ordered the holster Friday and it arrived today, Monday. How is that for great service. On the subject of MEC-GAR mags, I think CDNN has the best deal on them. They are 18.99 ea. If you live in Tx, you'll have to pay sales tax but that is still less than the cost direct from MEC-GAR. CDNN still lists C-Mores for 149.00 for a slide ride as well. On the 170mm mag project, the machinist working on it was going to try to start machining the dies this past weekend. I'll talk to him this week and find out how he is doing.
  14. Midsouth shooters supply lists them for 179. http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item...sku=00023300230 they are listed as on order.
  15. Hey the ice caps are melting on Mars too. See how bad global warming is.
  16. We used to use the " Bug Juice " off of the mess deck to clean the brass and bronze fittings and drains on shipboard in the navy. ( translation for those non-nautical types: kool-aid from the cafeteria ) I seem to remember the red worked the best, but it has been a while. Huston in Austin Does this REALLY work? I have a number of 5 gal buckets full of military rifle brass and .... Does this REALLY work..? That would be way to easy!
  17. The biggest question I've got is, How are they sized? Are they the normal size you wear?
  18. I get my bullets from Terry Labbe at Magnus Bullets. He gets his jacketed bullets from Zero, He also supplies cast bullets to Zero. He is located just north of Zero in Al. He is a bullseye shooter and very helpful. If you need anything not normally carried that Zero makes he can get it. I will admit he is also a friend of mine http://www.magnusbullets.com/
  19. Thanks Chet. Yes: 2MOA = Red 4MOA = Green 6MOA = Blue 8MOA = Yellow 12MOA = Orange 16MOA = Purple -Chet
  20. Standard Switch. Is it click-switch or standard switch?
  21. I've cut the legs off several C-Mores. I like Dawson's mount with the replaceable bast shield. Not all C-mores have the mounting holes through the body of the sight, but it isn't hard to make your own. Just don't put holes in the electronics.
  22. I just had ups drop off my new C-More from CDNN. It had some promotional give-a-ways in the box as well. Anybody need a well clock with a fish on it? Also had a money clip w/ a built in watch and key chain. The C-more box says it is the " SRTPS " model. It is supposed to be for the FN Tact Shotgun. However as the owner of half a dozen or so C-mores, I'd say it's a slide ride just like all but one of my other C-Mores. The only non-slide ride I've got is a Tactical model for an AR. If I were to guess at the origin of the C-More, I'd say CDNN got on a bunch of FN shotgun packages that included the sights and parted them out. But that is only a guess. One thing. The box didn't have the list of dot size color codes. Is the 6 min dot module the blue one?
