  1. You could simply ask the MFG themselves. A few of them frequent these forums. Double Alpha CRspeed I'm sure there are more of them.
  2. I use a 34 for uspsa production and a 26 for carry. Some people like the 19 instead since it gives you a longer sight radius and more capacity. You can't go wrong with either. My recommendation is get the whole set. A 26 for pocket carry, a 19 for IWB, a 17 for HD, and you already ordered the 34 for competition. Just a question, why the 34 with the magwell and the Edge trigger? That will put you out of production and you would be scored minor. For 3gun this would be fine though. Have fun with the switch.
  3. Sig X series have nice SA triggers, pretty sure there are threaded barrels for them too.
  4. TTI does fantastic work, very clean looking.
  5. Looks the same but the build just isn't there. They don't hold up.
  6. Sell and get a three pin like others have stated.
  7. Ming, what makes the contour different than the other models. Just asking since I have the long barreled one andwas thinking about a short paclite for steel challenge. Sorry for the thread jack.
  8. MCB, LIM is limited by magazine size not capacity so there is no correlation there. Revolver is limited by capacity. The same would go for shooting SS as well. Minor gun breaks you finish the match with your major gun limited to 8 rounds provided you hit 125PF.
  9. Whichever you have more access too. Trigger time is trigger time. I much prefer USPSA though.
  10. From what I have seen is that those geared towards airsoft are cheap chinese knockoffs. That being said there are people out there who wield that kind of equipment with great skill. But you usually get what you pay for so don't expect DAA racemaster quality.
  11. I would say take the break and focus on your career and family. When it comes to your equipment I have mixed feelings. You enjoy 3 gun and IDPA, keep an idpa rig and get rid of everything else? That way you can get a head start on the house thing and still have one sport to dabble in when you feel the fancy too. You could always buy your equipment again. Good luck.
  12. The Markham Park events have a great group that turns out. Very friendly to new shooters and we have a 3 gun night as well.
  13. #1 sights. Take your pick Dawson, TTI, Warren, Heine, etc. #2 magwell. I prefer a Dawson ice because of the insert but there are more. #3 SS guiderod. Again take your pick Zev, Jager, etc. #4 trigger. I prefer a metal trigger so Zev or Glockstore. Also vanek, glocktriggers, have a smith cut you a nice one? #5 basepads. I like dawsons just because but you have others. TTI, arredondo, taylor freelance. All are good. This pretty much gets you a run of the mill limited ready glock. My favorite addition to this is the SJC frame weight and *thumb rest [generic]*. Try it and you will ... surprised.
  14. 2013 I shot 50+ local matches with 5 majors interspersed throughout. All disciplines. for 2014 I will be lucky to hit 10 local and a major... school takes precedence.
  15. Vibra-prime, got it on sale and it's much easier than pick up tubes. Had to fiddle with it but now it runs like a champ.
  16. I would say fondle an TTI gun before you buy it. Some people don't feel comfortable with the new grip feeling if they are used to the standard glock hump while others fall in love with them. That and the laser etching are the biggest things TTI does. Sights you can order from them directly and triggers you can buy a drop in anywhere. My choice would be a gen 4 since you prefer the smaller grip size. Good luck with whichever you choose.
  17. My complaints in order of gravity. #1 trigger, they suck but I ran a factory G34 trigger for a year. #2.... Wait, there isn't much more. Grip angle is just practice a little bit before hand and you should remember how to do everything. And that trigger thing, just practice with it and you should be fine. Just don't tinker too much with it. So for my vote go for it. It'll help you grow as a shooter. But usually you see people going in the other direction for costs sake mostly.
  18. Larger in grip space, mouth, weight? Each is going to have a different suggestion.
  19. + a lot for Steve Anderson as well. Then Ben Stoegers.
  20. If you are going to major matches have you considered buying match ammo? A little on the expensive side but you know it is there and that you won't fail at the chrono. And with the situation the way it is I would be scaredfof not finding the components I needed at my destination. I'm sure some others will chime in on your actual question though.
