  1. What die set do you currently load with? Do you chamber check your rounds? Have you had any trouble with the rounds you have already loaded? If you haven't had any trouble so far why change anything?
  2. Shouldn't give you a problem, mine do it in regardless of the calibre in all of my Glock extensions. Function test them before a match just to be sure.
  3. Sounds like you are slapping the trigger to the rear when you are trying to go faster. Make sure to align those sites before you fire off that next round.
  4. To add on what Jax said. It is usually always cheaper going a custom route especially with milling and all than it is to customize unless you can do the labor yourself. I second starting a new build.
  5. Shooting alphas as quickly as you can should fix that right up. A stage is a stage, doesn't matter if its at a local practice match or a sectional championship. Most important thing is to enjoy yourself safely.
  6. When no one else steps up to do it. BTDT. You would be surprised at how many clubs lack volunteers for management.
  7. Second to what PJB said. It all depends on your gun and comp. Calibre, cartridge, comp design, hole design. All of these things influence how an open gun shoots. That being said it is best to contact the gun builder of your choice and ask them for their opinion on a build. Good luck.
  8. E3 is of the faster variety, I would try it out and post your results.
  9. A match is a match. First be safe, second don't DQ, third shoot alphas as fast as you can. I do those things in that order for any match... usually.
  10. Do what PK said, Brazos and the 4 pack should be and extra $400. I think it's worth it. That is the price for just the parts that go into the mags and you get the tuning for free.
  11. Just a question, why do you play with 2.5 at the club level and then major at 3.0? Why don't you just practice the way you would at a major? Half a grain of powder isn't something that I would bother over and make sure I'd make the floor.
  12. Red dot is the same flake size as unique and blue dot.
  13. If you don't jump on this you well probably kick yourself for years to come. Find a way to acquire the funds for it.
  14. http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/travel Like Chuck said, ship the mags back take the gun.
  15. What powder and charge are you using? 1.140ish? What press are you loading on and how much of a range is "ish"?
  16. It's as everyone else said, no rules against it.
  17. One shot and a cardboard box, also gives you an extra opportunity to check your cases.
  18. If your standard magazines are the 126 mm ones the Dawson hi cap tool less won't seat on the gun. For IPSC I would take the 126 mm mag, grams guts, and the Dawson wedge extensions. That's what I do when I play in IPSC and it usually fits the box. Hope this helps.
  19. For what you say you are going to use it for I would take a steel frame over an aluminum one.
  20. Any of those holsters will take you very far. As for pouches I have no experience with that company but if you can get your hands on a DAA holster I'm sure you can find their pouches as well. The single stack racer ones are fantastic for classic division. Good luck and have fun in our sport.
  21. What kind of guiderod did you have in the gun? As Jones said what magazines did you have in it as well? .2 oz is not very much I'm sure you could have shaved the weight right there.
  22. Our club does a yearly classifier match and we try to get one per each monthly match but sometimes things come up. I personally don't see the need to have one at every match.
  23. Take the extra tone and separate the gun stuff from the flying stuff. Powder residue will set off the swipe tester. Usually no biggie just time wasted but you never know what might happen.
