  1. That's exactly what I want. Did canyon creek do it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Nice! You guys think some Xtreme style slide lightening cuts would be beneficial? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Kneeling atlas Hooked me up with a hunter upper, .40 cal. This thing ought to be the new hotness. I don't know if it's the *thumb rest [generic]* or what, but my limited has significantly less recoil than my stock 2 in .40 with the same major load. The 6" upper might be like a sub minor 9mm. Can't wait to test it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nice, but the GM card is inside. You have to open it to get it out..[emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The DAA is nice. I hacked the shit outta mine though, was too big and made racking the slide tough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Meh.. I just want Eric's grips in the width of stock wood grips. EG grips are badass, but too thin. Never tried Hennings but are reportably between EG and wood. That's all you would need thin, mid and thick. bam! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It's pretty hard to see from the pictures, but from the pencil tip back is where I shaved. Maybe .005"?!? When in the gauge the very back is about half a millimeter I would say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I would agree, Nick, your reloads are insane!
  9. Man, after reading all these stock 3 threads after the hawktec fire sale, I'm kinda glad I didn't pick one up. Everyone has nothing but problems. My stock 2 works like a champ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. In my experience the coiled pins seem to require less effort to drive in and out. Other than that...? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Unfortunately I don't have any 9mm slides to trade. But if you decide to sell the hunter upper let me know! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My mags Would fit the gauge barely, if it was put in just right. I sanded down the back of the feed lips just a scoshe, to ensure they fit easily and quickly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Beer baron, you ever gets yours to work? IIRC you said the sear face is too long to engage hammer hooks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Is it raw or henning prepped? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hahhaah, would you believe the first 26k rounds my dad and I shot we single staged every single round? I don't think the recoil spring is an issue to be honest. I have a friend that wants me to try a heavier recoil spring and I trust him but I doubt that a heavier recoil spring will change it. Yeah I never should do a slide lock reload but once that plan goes to shit there it goes! WJM That's insane! I loaded 2000 rounds on a single stage when I first started uspsa. Took about 80 minutes to load 100 rounds. Then I said F that and bought a 650. I can't imagine 26k. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. You have to fit the safety and the lower sear leg. The sear leg is very long. So you have to increase the pre travel to let the trigger bar go forward to get back in front of the sear engagement leg to reset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks guys. The primer tube holders are actually adhesive backed pen/pencil holders. They work excellent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. My original plan was to brace my case feeder to the wall, very similar to Sarge's second picture. I would occasionally get upside down bullets and bullets falling out of the BF, despite the bench being rather rigid. I opted to lower the feeder at the same time., and attach to the wall only. It's lowered ~6". I've ran 500 rounds through with out issue. Only issues I might run into is; when I start loading .223, outrunning the case feeder could be possible. Also, if it was any lower the bullets would not fall through the spring to the dropper, not enough downward angle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. To get the most out of the henning triggers you have to fit the lower sear leg. I rounded the bottom corner and took the flat face back that contacts the trigger bar. There's a pic. Floating around that i think nealio posted that shows what to do. When I first installed the henning trigger I couldn't take any pre travel out without the gun not resetting. Had to work the sear leg. If you bought the Raw EGW sear it looks like it will take a lot of work. I test fitted a raw one, nothing worked. I guess the henning prepped Sears are pretty much fit the safety and your good to go. I haven't tried one yet though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. So.. If you have a one piece sear , just need to enlarge the hole? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. How much more will that rest go over - in the horizontal position? ThanksThere is ~5mm more rearward movement in the bolt groove. Probably will go well under 45 degrees. You could even lengthen both slots to go more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That is nice. How much? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. mine came from EGs site, and came with slotted screws. go to Ace Hardware, they have lots of screws
