  1. How is the brass getting destroyed before it begins to swage the pocket? Are we talking about the Dillon super swage or the on press mounted swage-it tool?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Also I buy 5 gallon buckets of brass from a supplier, all I do is wet tumble and run it through the 650. Dillion size die, MBF powder funnel, Redding comp. seating die. Lee FCD. I don't even case gauge anymore. I look at the rounds as I'm loading them in the mags. Sometimes the bullet gets some shaving or a slightly damaged case from not being lined up properly when sizing. I catch those visually. Not one issue in my guns. STI edge and an Infinity with AET. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm seeing this as well. I run a digital clutch of 2 in the mark 7 for .40. And a 4 or 5 loading 9. For reference I run a 5 When I size and trim 223. It is quite an increase in resistance. Standard Dillon dies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A nickel weighs 5.0 grams. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I did install the MBF capacitor thing, it just connects to the existing terminals. The casefeeder requires pulling the micro switch, i haven't done it, no issues yet. Over 10K cycles for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm running all that you specified plus a shop vac, and Bosch router motor for trimming. It has tripped the breaker with the ceiling fan, 3 ceiling fan lights, all were on while converting blackout brass. 15 amp bedroom circuit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I don't find it to be an issue. Spin it in by hand. Open end 9/16", snug it down. Takes like 10 seconds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Maybe they are from a 1050...Super swage rods are threaded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Geezus, no way in hell I'm swaging that much brass by hand one at a time. I'd buy processed brass before wearing out 12 rods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Never had a 1050. I have a mark 7 on a 650. I was too invested in the 650 to change to a 1050/mark7. I have loading toolheads for 9, 40, 223, 300blk. Processing/converting toolheads for 223, 300blk. I can't imagine the cost to have caliber conversions on a 1050 For all that. I use a Swageit and it's ehhhh, it's satisfactory for LC brass, but anything else it's frustrating. You don't have to worry about swaging so I say just mark 7 your 650. It helps to have your press dialed in before adding then mark 7. I struggled a little bit with 223, but never had it dialed in running manually. I can run .40 at 1500rph all day and works flawless. Mark 7 has primer depth adjustment as well. The swaging is the only downside to a 650. Pulling the handle sucks, ill take a 650/MK7 over a manual 1050. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If you can mount the casefeeder separate of the bench. It will eliminate all of this. Including intermittent flipped Bullets from MBF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Stick a .45 case on top of the primer rod. Adds a little weight to the rod. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You're only getting a squib if don't put any powder in it. I'd try 5.2gr. See what you get. I usually look at a some load data then guess a starting point, I'm usually really close because I know my gun runs a little faster. When I started developing a load for Bullseye, I was way off. I was at like 220 power factor. Way faster then load data suggested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Sierra put out a bulletin regarding their TMKs, stating polishing The seating stem. https://www.google.com/amp/s/sierrabulletsblog.com/2016/04/20/seating-concerns-with-sierra-tipped-matchking-tmk-bullets/amp/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Dude if you have a mark 7, just fill primers and stand back[emoji6] I've never used federal primers, nor had a detonation, but mark 7 has seated primers sideways, upside down, attempted to seat primers with a spent primer still in the case. No detonation. However it is with S&B and CCI... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Can't comment specifically on AK round, but 300blk is similar and I use the large pistol plate with the washer. Its ok. It's kinda slow to feed. Tried 2 washers, didn't work. Small rifle plate dumps cases in upside down. I use the same feed tube. I think washer part number is 13738. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I don't have that with Mr bulletfeeder funnel. I wet tumble and use one shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Got one on a large powder bar for .223. Using cfe223, a super fine powder. Each click is about .2 I like the click, but finer clicks would be better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Oh no, Donnie? Hope he's alright. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Assuming you have the correct case feeder parts for 223. Are you using the short end of the black plastic case insert slider thing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Me too. Dillon size die with expander ball removed, then trim/size die. On the loading tool head, M die, powder, dropper, Dillon seater, Dillon crimper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The return spring flys off if you don't remove it first. I just stick the shell plate bolt in when your tightening the platform screws, make sure it threads in smoothly and should be good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Before Mark 7, 500. After Mark 7, makes ammo while I'm playing Call of Duty, till I get tired of poking primers waiting for mark 7 to announce whether their fancy primer collator will be adaptable to work with Dillon presses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks. What I really want is 2 USB webcams, to a tablet with a spit screen. A camera on each the case and bullet feeders. Not sure if that's possible though... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
