  1. The Dominate Defense inner belt is perfect to keep from bunching up. I have been using the system for over 3 months. The inner has an elastic system that cures the problem.
  2. Why don't you give that a try on your next strong hand/weak hand classifier and report back to us how it works. You could give us a strngths and opportunities list.
  3. I don't like to call it cant because of the negative connotation. I think we should call it tilt.
  4. I have been using Hunter's HD Gold a few years now. My first set Brian was kind enough to make me top bi-focals and they are a real game changer. Old eyes and red/green color blindness, HD Gold is the cure. I have 2 other sets of non prescription to loan out at matches so people can try them. I get nothing for it nor am I affiliated in any way, they just changed my shooting so much I like to let others see the difference.
  5. Ask yourself what can you do sooner, not where to get faster. You can get your hand on the gun way sooner. You can get your gun out of the holster way sooner. If you look closely you are making 2 movements to get your gun out. You are grabbing the gun and then pulling it out, make that one move. Can you get your support hand on the gun sooner? Can you get the gun on target sooner? To get faster you will have to force yourself past the limit of your function to see what it is. You will have to accept not everything will be perfect all the time.
  6. You know for about 50 bucks you can go to the courthouse and legally change your name.
  7. Seems I can never hold on to it long enough for it to become a problem....
  8. +2 for Rollsizer.com. Kevin has the true fix for 40 brass. The GRx die did work, but it is waaaayyy too slow. I enjoy pulling the handle. I don't get off on it.
  9. Brazos Precision is less than 6.5 cents per bullet shipped. You can order them in 4 diameters as well. My order 2 weeks ago today arrived last Monday. They are shipping pretty quick.
  10. That is hilarious. I quit shooting production and USPSA years ago because the douchers outlawed my 40oz Para LDA at 40 oz's. NOW they decide a 6 lb production gun is OK?? I know they bent on the 40 oz long ago, but I kept a grudge. I just shoot Ltd.
  11. I was referring that I switched to Clean Shot. I got tired of the VV shortages 25 years ago. Never went back.
  12. Soft and insanely low ES and SD. I have switched to it for 9mm, 40, and 45. I just started trying it out about 5 weeks ago and ordered 4/5lb containers yesterday. Nice metering and as soft as Clays which I had used since 1992.
  13. 1.180 Did 4.18 of Clean Shot with 230 Gr Acme RN at 1.260 over 10 shots got 11 ES and 4 SD. It seems every bit as soft as Clays to me and maybe a tad cleaner. I never had any complaints with Clays though.
  14. Large dots have been popular since dots have been used in USPSA. Back when there were a lot of 50 yd standards some of the top shooters were using 12 MOA. They are actually easy to use at that distance if you use the top of your dot for your aiming point at that distance and they are smoking fast at 15 yards. The larger dots are not getting more popular, the manufacturers of the mini sights are just accomodating the competition market better than they had in the past. When I shot open with a C-More in 1994 I started out with an 8 MOA and it worked great.

  16. Just used this the first time yesterday with the Digital Link app on my phone. What a great and simple interface to use in the field. I love the easy setup with Android and all the great features of the chronograph. I used to use the PACT Professional and the PACT IV (away for repairs) and I don't know if I will go back. I don't think PACT is a very innovative company at this point. When I got home I wanted to load my shot strings onto my laptop so I followed the instructions closely to link Digital Link to the bluetooth. No matter what I did, when the chrono said they were connected, DL said they were not. Under my connections it said the BT was paired, but never showed connected. After 45 minutes of repeating the insanity and trying to throw in a few twists, I spotted my Ipad on my tool box. I downloaded DL and opened the app, went to settings and it connected while I was looking at it. Awesome thinks me, I will give it another whirl on the PC. Windows 10 and my ProChrono DLX will not play together after another 20 minutes of my time. Anyone run into this or have any suggestions? I am not totally computer illiterate, I know how to spell PC. This thing is making me think that is all I know.
  17. I just did some ladder loads yesterday in 37 degree weather with 180 GR Brazos coated. My worst load (the one that made major) had the highest ES which was 23. My worst SD was 6. Clean Shot burned very clean with what I would say was very light smoke. There was no breeze where I was shooting. It burned extremely clean in a 5" KKM barrel. The recoil seemed very close to my Clays loads with the same PF. Will do some more testing and report later. I think Shooter's World powders may be a bit overlooked. 40_uspsa_major.pdf
  18. Any follow up on the TZ CSO problem? Interested in seeing if is a gun problem or ammo.
  19. If DLC will get me to GM I am bailing on Nitriding ASAP! Nice work!
  20. I am guessing the flannel shirts may be slowing down the CA Clays.
  21. Enough with the divisions already. I remember when there were 2. Now we have it so watered down it is pathetic. More divisions make more burdens for everyone involved. How many e Nationals do we need? We need some more divisions with 15 or 20 (or less) competitors at an Area match, works out great.
  22. I currently have the Gauge with my prescription high center for shooting Limited. I am going to buy a second pair for shooting with optics, but can't decide what style I want. What is a favorite style of Hunter's HD Gold and why? I like the look of the new Velocity, but have not got to see them in person yet.
  23. Do lots of Bill Drills also. You will learn your gun and all the tendencies very quickly.
  24. Look up Ben Stoeger's doubles drill and work with it. It will help you diagnose your grip and stance so that you can recognize an acceptable sight picture to break a shot and not have to spend the time tracking the whole recoil impulse.
  25. I have some pretty serious color deficiencies with red and green in my eyesight. Using Hunter's HD Gold it is no longer a problem for me to see a 8 MOA C More dot in any lighting. And a .040 green or yellow (I have no clue which, I think yellow) has got me back to seeing a front sight again. For me they were a great way to extend my way below mediocre performance in shooting USPSA for years to come.
