  1. The inside looks great. This is not bench rest ammo so it is not deprimed. I guess I must not be sure what clean enough is to load, fire, and leave laying on a range. I just try to keep from scratching my 30 plus year old carbide dies. Seems to have worked so far. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. The site is adamant about not using pins. That's the way I've been cleaning for years. Unless it is mud caked I think I'm done with that. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. These are after 1 hour and 20 minutes in a bucket with Brass Juice Case Wash. I mixed 1.25 ounces to a gallon of tap water. I agitated by spinning the bucket every 20 minutes. I will definitely be using this in the cement mixer. Best I've ever seen. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. I would not use it as a cologne, but it has a good minty smell. It is not sticky or slimy. Loaded Saturday with no wipe down or tumbling. Used in a match yesterday with no crap at all on my fingers. As to whether it is worth the price, I will say heck ya. I am need of a right shoulder surgery desperately, but it is shooting season. I use a Redding push through die for 40 brass before I load, and it is definitely less effort on my Rock Chucker doing that process. I may be able to do even 1000 at a sitting now. I am mixing up the Brass Juice case wash right now to test. Will try to post before and after.
  5. I have had the GMG Davey Crocket WiFi for over a year. Great customer service and a great product. I would highly recommend GMG to anyone.
  6. Just got it in this morning and I had to load some ammo anyway (convenient). Put it on the 40 cal brass before I dumped it in the 650 hopper and went to work. Remarkable difference from One Shot. Looking forward to trying the case wash, but the amount of info on the web for using it is pretty pathetic. Will hopefully know how it works tomorrow afternoon.
  7. That is just plain and simply poor and lazy stage design. Most matches the stage would be crucified by the shooters. It happens only because it is allowed.
  8. I was always amazed that people could actually find the time to try to mess with someone else's game plan instead of perfecting their own. By the time you do a walkthrough and help reset and paste, it is hard to perfect your own plan. I prefer to reserve the energy for my own use, I'm old and don't have enough to spare.
  9. I use hang tags. I put one on the next new spring with the info when the last change was.
  10. Thirds, very organized and sensible.
  11. The grip is the only link with the gun that you have 100% control over. Rossen will show you why it matters.
  12. I agree with 3gunDQ. If you are fairly new to the sport, learn how to grip the gun. Once you learn the grip, dry fire dry fire dry fire.
  13. It also helps to just practice getting your grip on the gun as soon as you hear the first note of the timer. No draw, no sight picture. Head erect, proper stance and balance, beep, grab the gun.
  14. I made A Limited 23 years ago. Life got in the way (stupid kids, hear that sucking sound from my wallet?) and I just got back to Limited last month. Shoulder surgery between now and 12/1 is imminent. Going for M card by Labor Day 2019. Mike Farniok A16729 Limited A (since the wheel was invented)
  15. I have used pro grip for 20 plus years. Especially with a metal grip.
  16. Brian at Hunter's HD Gold made me a pair with the top interior diopters. They are nothing short of amazing. I have a red green color deficiency, and his trivex photochromatic lenses are the cure I have been looking to find for 15 years. Are they cheap? Nope. But they are ANSI rated so my one set of eyes are well protected. I still ponder at the fact people will spend $1-5K on a gun and complain about the price of shooting glasses and hearing protection.
  17. Don't be afraid to try another half to 1 thousandth crimp. Load some, check for movement. Test fire and check for pressure.
  18. I have 80 lbs of Maxam Csb1. About 4.2 gr with a 180 will make major. Burns clean. Meters like clays.
  19. What is the preferred crimp die in a 650?
  20. Glad to see you got it fixed so quickly. It can usually be narrowed down to something in the tool head. Over crimping is a common culprit as well.
  21. The basis of the Solution is no different than the Thunder or any other CK/Freedom build. Shave a few bucks off for the bells and whistles, you can always upgrade later as funds allow. These pistols are a dream to shoot. I still look at mine as more a piece of artistry than a machine. The communication from Bobby and Matt is second to none, just like their products.
