    Same here. This is what I use also. I had to use the pistol version. The rifle version is to long to fit into my ejection port. I am shooting a Just Right Carbine.

    Here is my just for fun PCC. It is the Marine Take-Down from Just Right Carbines. I have several Glock 33 round mags for it. Red dot is undecided.

    This would be my only concern: Fits most aisoft and paintball guns, and all standard Picatinny rails and 5/16 Threaded for Match Bow Mounts Could it handle the recoil?

    I LOVE mine too. Started with a XD9 service. When the 5.25 came out I switched to that for USPSA and now use my XD9 for carry. I put a FF3 on it for carry optics. I am waiting for the 5.25 to be offered with the slide cut for optics in bi tone.

    I have contacted 2 different well known companies. Both said that due to Springfield's design for it's safeties and such, that they could not mill the slide for an optic.

    You will not be able to mount a red dot. The slide cannot be milled. You can go with a mounting plate. Just not as good.

    Did not find an mention of this design. Thoughts ???? I am constantly having fogging issues. Wipes are a very short term fix for me.

    Yes, I am using one of Scott's plates. Now that I am ready to fully commit to CO, I wanted to have my slide milled to lower my FF3.

    I always let mine time out after the 8 hours. Battery is about 5 months old and still strong.
