Certainly agree with this statement. Butttttttttttttttt......if I can tell someone is shooting a .45 with a 1 in 16 RH twist while shooting a stage, they are gone regardless of my position on the stage. I am in no way suggesting the gallery speak up except in extreme cases when an RO/Scorekeeper didn't see something that is a major safety situation. Lee

Breaking the 180 is a safety issue and is everyone's responsibility regardless of position on the stage. "We" cannot let it slide as if something were to happen "we" would risk our continued shooting. Though I hate to be the only to tell someone they are done for the day, they DQ'd themselves due to their own actions. It sucks but we cannot let things slide. My only concern is ones angle of view. What looks like a 180 break may not actually be. I have done may videos for which I was sure someone broke the 180 but when standing in the same spot in person it was not. I am not suggesting you didn't see what you saw, just be sure, especially if you are not the RO/Scorekeeper on a stage. Lee

I found all the CRO/RO's to be very good.....while we (Squad 25) were delayed a time or two, Paul moved us around and we got to shoot without too long of a wait anywhere. I thank them for their efforts. Lee -

Having been on both sides of the fence, I find the key to being a manager is very simple. Communicate. Any news/direction is better than nothing. I say go for it! Lee

3 of is are actually using Winchester AutoComp....I was using 3n38 byt it was hard to get and costs more. I have had great luck with AutoComp and will be sticking with it. At Area 6 shots from my sons gun were 1408, 1409, and 1407. Can't really get more consistent than that. It is also very clean for me at ~172pf.

We both had the older 3 port comp with 2 hybrid holes and went with the newer comp and 3 hybrid holes at Brandon's recommendation. We have a buddy who had a IMM with the older 3 port comp and no hybrid holes. At Brandon's suggestion he added 3 holes and it did tame the gun down considerably. It really depends though on you grip and load. You can always add holes but you can't plug them so starting with no holes is not a bad idea.
-
They are not that new...my son and I have had them on our guns for more than a year. We have 3 hybrib holes and for a short gun they work very well. You can see clear pics of the comp on my son's website under the Photo's page. www.nicholasneel.com Lee

I use Pinacle Studio 14 Ultimate HD Edition and like it very much. I do overlays all the type but haven't done any PIP but it does have the capability. Lee -
The fit is pretty good....not a custom built gun smooth as glass fit like a Benny built unit or a SV but more than acceptable. I am building a 4.5" 9mm Minor gun right now on a kit and I am happy with it. Lee

Mystery is driving me nuts - what's wrong with that round?

Does your gun have a 9mm or .38 Super breachface? Have you used this brass before? Lee -
Just got in from shooting all 12 stages today. Very good match and the weather turned out to be fantastic. Seems quite a few people didn't show up and all I got to say is you missed a good one! Barfed on 1 stages but shot 11 pretty good. We are going back for results tomorrow and a shoot up to boot! Lee

I recently built a .40 carry gun with a Barsto barrel and had the same exact situation. The chamber is very, very tight. It will run factory loads 100% but will not run reloads, even those that drop completely free into a case guage. Have the chamber reamed and throat the barrel a bit and you will be just fine. Lee

It sure wasn't....ALOT of brass, bullets, gunpowder, primers, and reloading on my part.....practice and more practice on his part. Thanks, Lee

My son and I use a round knurled aluminum knob I had several made. It really is just for a point of reference and I hate having my thumb just hanging out in the wind. Lee

While at my Aunt and Uncles in east Texas I took my Honda Trail 70 out on the back country roads. Man, I was free and flying. I bet I was doing 45-50 when I realized the road I was on ended, right onto a Highway. I also at the same time learned that from 45-50 mph the brakes on a Honda Trail 70 will stop you about right in the middle of the highway. As I stood up looking left I felt very fortunate not to be hit. I then just started to break my head to look right and vroooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........a truck missed me by about 0.0000000000000000000000000001245" and went off the road into a ditch. He must have been a helluva driver as he saved it and kept right on going. I think he knew he scared the sh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!t out of me so bad that I would never ride that damn thing on the road again. I never told anyone about that until last weekend. I saved that one for 29 years.....I was a lucky stupid little 12 year old . Lee -
