  1. "B', I've seen you shoot.................... JK, Because you know it was an incorrectly setup classifier and that you would certainly have not made A without that 100% I would shoot as B. Lee
  2. A bunch of new sponsors have been added to the website.....its gonna be a great match. Area 4 Championship Lee
  3. Not sure why you would want to do that....with it's shape I think that would be strange to look at a D shaped optic on it's side. My whole goal was to get a sight mounted as low as possible with the ejection port 100% clear. Lee
  4. My regular C-Mores are ~27mm in diameter. The RTS is ~21.5mm in height and ~25.5mm wide. I took the base plate off and did not see any place that at least 2 screw holes could be drilled to mount the sight directly onto the mount. I will look again though as I was in a hurry to get it on a gun. Lee
  5. Guess you might actually want to see what the sight looks like.... Lee
  6. It does have a Weaver mount on the bottom. I modified an Infinity C-More mount by chopping it off and putting a Picatinny rail on it and chopped off the back half. While I certainly do think I could mount it even lower right now it is 1/4" lower than a regular C-More on the same Infinity mount which is already very, very low. I cut it off where there is nothing above the ejection port so 9mm gun brass issues with varying brass dimensions become a non-issue. I have only shot one practice session and one steel matchwith it and I do kinda like it. A regular C-More is ~27mm in diameter.....the RTS is ~22mm so the difference is really not that noticeable. I sure wish C-More would make a version with about a 25mm lens and with a flat bottom with at least 2 bolt holes. Right now it appears there is no room for holes due to electronic locations. Lee
  7. Haaa.....as I shoot Open it is ALL good with me.....but I do suspect a rev shooter might flatten your tires.... Lee
  8. First, lots of folks make great parts.....Infinity Firearms is like Michelin. They are in business to make the best parts/guns available anywhere. I work there on occasion and have seen them discard parts that I thought were perfectly acceptable. Their personal standards are very, very high. As to your questions: 1. What are the prices now. I did the gunbuilder but at the end it didn't give me a price. I know the prices can go crazy, but for a short frame sight tracker in stainless with Xcelerator cuts. Well, it all depends as each cut/option changes the price and not too many people want the exact same thing. Stainless this or that changes the price from steel or titanium if you so desire. With that said, the previous poster is certainly in the ballpark. 2. What is the lead time? It is about 12 months right now but you call always call Brandon to discuss your particular needs/desires..... 3. Would you do it again? I have bought 5 brand new SV's.....though I am now a sponsored shooter with SV, I would still gladly pay for a gun of this quality. 4. What did you pay (if you do not want to say I understand), all depends.....I guess the range for a basic plain Jane Single Stack to a full titanium Tiki is $2500-$10,000. Brandon is a great person to work with and can quickly point you in a direction to meet your budget. 5. How do you like their aluminum grips compared to the polymer? I will just say the "metal" grips feel much more solid (as they should) than the polymer grips. Aluminum should really only be used for a "minor" gun in my opinion as it is tough to put up with the forces of a "major" load with aluminum. A steel or stainless steel grip is a much better option. I am not even sure Brandon would sell an aluminum grip on a .40 Limited or a major open gun. Lee
  9. I created a Microsoft Access based solution in a prior life.....I know many clubs use it. There is also a version for Major matches that tracks entries, shirts/hats, sponsors, etc. Its called I.D.P.A. Score and is located under applications in the File menu. www.commencefiring.com Lee
  10. I had one of those....a long time ago. Think I had the same thing and ditched it. I also did not like the 2 cartridge system. I have since owned (2) Canon printers. One iP4300 which I broke the USB connector center on while moving it for use at a big match and my current iP4700. I like the multiple cartridge system better and have not had the black blob problem on either. Printer speed and quality is far better than the older printers from just 3-4 years ago. Lee
  11. Done, as is registering for the hotel through the Match Organizer's. US Customs Forms for the guns have be gotten, copies made, passports done. Communications with all 3 airlines involved in getting there and back done....guns/ammo carry set to the lowest common requirement of guns in locked hardsided case (disassembled because an assembled gun with no ammo might go off ), ammo will be boxed in foam/cardboard boxes like factory ammo so no one can cry....left plenty of time between flights to insure we can get there on time. Actually we will arrive on 9-30 if all goes well giving us 3 days before the match to get used to the time changes and shake off the jet lag. Lee
  12. It had bays....just not the 30+ required for the WS. We should get more info after this weekend's Greek Nationals (among other Greek issues). Believe me, as I have already booked everything to go to the WS I am more nervous than most. The lack of info is extremely disheartening and if my son was not on the offical USPSA Open Junior National Team I would have passed on the stress.
  13. Ok, I was a little further behind than I thought but now we both have a GM card.
  14. Well, congrats to you are in order as well!
  15. Haaaaaaaaa.....I remember that......now it is "we'll never shoot those stupid Limited guns"...and I am pretty sure of that as I sold them all. I wanna go fast!!!!!!!!!! Lee
  16. Well, I finally did it. I made Grand Master in Open. This makes Nic and I only the second Father/Son to both be GM's in USPSA along with the Bridgman's! With Nic and I being 1/2 at the 2011 Arkansas Sectional Match I think we are making our mark as a Father/Son team! Lee
  17. I had some round ones made for my son.....I like them alot just for an indexing mechanism. I don't really press on them for recoil control (my SV IMM comp takes care of that!). Lee www.nicholasneel.com
  18. $1 and you can bring it to me tonight while you use my Super 1050 to load .38 SuperComp. Cash is king baby! Lee
  19. The Team Infinity shooters are all using either 3 or 4 holes. I prefer 3 and use Winchester AutoComp (fills the case about 70%) and it isn't too loud (well, all open guns are loud). Lee
  20. I use Pinnacle Studio 14 HD....easy to use and do overlays and any music you want. Lee
  21. ha....and frame, grip, safeties, sights, trigger bases, pins, barrels, mag release, slide stop, firing pin, firing pin stop, plugs, bushings, hammer, sears, disconnectors, interchangeable breech faces, but I guess it is all for not as you are right, they do not pour their own metal. Darn... Posting just to be posting seems to me... Lee
  22. While there are many fine, fine gunsmiths building great guns almost all of them are limited to the more mass produced base frame and slide from STI. I am not saying these are bad parts in any way but there is no comparison to the 100% billet barstock made SV's. Their machining is ALL done on multi-axis CNC mills. The slide to frame fit from them is an incredible process providing a fantastic, long lasting pistol. The options are near endless. Theirs are truly the only 100% custom pistols. They make ALL the parts in house in Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, or Titanium. You can get what you want, how you want it all with great long term support. I am fairly fortunate and can afford ANY custom pistol I want. I have owned 8 SV's and currently have 2 in process. It is just as exciting now awaiting the call that one is finished as I was for my first one. No disrespect to any of the fine gunsmiths out there but if you want a full custom work of art, contact Brandon and get one (or two) started, www.sviguns.com . Lee
  23. A good FIRM handshake or get the hell away from me.....limp lettuce crap doesn't work for me. Lee
  24. I was Top 10 at Area 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 in 2010 and made Top 16 at the USPSA Open Nationals. Not bad for an old, fat guy. Lee TY53799
