  2. Couple of Smiths on another Forum posted that they have been working with Kensight's owner to produce a "No Mar" Bomar style sight that includes a base that will fit existing dovetails; and along with some minor machine work will be bedded in the top of the slide. As one who despises fixed sights on a range or competition gun, this is very exciting news IMO!!!!
  3. Installed the EGW kits in a 2011 and a 1911 along with Colt sear springs. Ended up with 3# in one and 2 3/4# in the other after sear spring adjustments. And, I did not have to replace the thumb safety in either pistol! Very pleased with the results!
  4. An updated file for Alignment: https://app.box.com/s/dl6b5h30m90p5omnbvi5
  5. According to Old Will Knott Scales, My Weigh has discontinued the entire GemPro line........... Sad to hear this............
  6. Steve: Take a look at the 3rd page of this document. This is the alignment tool that Dillon will send you for free. Their latest set of alignment tools includes a #62167 PRIMER ALIGNMENT TOOL 2 PC and a #13713 ALIGNMENT FIXTURE. If you take a close look at the procedure on the 3rd page of the pdf, you can get a feel for what is being accomplished. You may even be able to "eyeball" the primer punch to shellplate orientation by adjusting the index cam until you receive the Dillon Alignment Tools package. Definitely worth having on hand! 7. sas: I was dealing with your issues several years ago............. Hope this helps!
  8. Asked Tony about the Staccato L...….he was very busy, and his only comment was "not ready to release yet". So, I feel it's coming....just not right now.
  9. Darrell: Truly appreciate your load data! Thank you Sir!
  10. Avenida: Not familiar with the CamPro 147...........however, I was shooting a Montana Gold 147 CMJ on top of 3.6g of N320 with an OAL of 1.142 for a 133.48PF. Avg for 10 shot group was 908fps. This was out of both a Glock G17G4 and a G34G4. Excellent performance and accuracy! VV has a ton of reloading data available on their site: https://www.vihtavuori.com/reloading-data/handgun-reloading/?cartridge=89
  11. Tony Pignato stated in an earlier video the Staccato L will be released at NRA Indy!
  12. Message with my email sent. Thanks Pete!
  13. Patience......... According to Pignato, the Edge's replacement will be released at NRA Indy. The Staccato L.
  14. Call Dawson as they are making a toolless guide rod for the John Wick 3, 5.4" gun: https://dawsonprecision.com/sti-combat-master-9-x19-as-seen-in-john-wick-3/
  15. Nice! Looking forward to your range reports!
  16. fb: To follow up, I used a ty-wrap and secured the rotating cradle to the top of the lula. Grabbed the Dremel and 10 minutes later I'm loading those gen 2's perfectly! Thanks again for posting the pic and instructions.
  17. Tremendous help! THANK YOU!!!
  18. ccoker: CONGRATULATIONS! The DVC L is definitely on my wish list!
  19. fbzero and/or anyone else with maglula mods: Was using the uplula at my first range session with the Staccato P 9mm, and was experiencing minor issues. Like yours, the loader didn't want to "pop up" off the top of the magazine. 126's were easier (to load) than 140's as the 140's also wanted to pull back out the last round I inserted in. Most I was inserting were 10 rounds at a time. Hope all this makes sense...... Would appreciate anyone elaborating on the specific mods to the maglula. Details would be a plus! Thanks again!
  20. A company that may be local to you.............. http://www.richterprecision.com/
  21. My Staccato P is shipping tomorrow with the Costa/ Tree Bark grip. If I change it anytime soon, it will be for the DVC grip. But I'll spend some time with the Costa before jumping to anything else. Supposed to ship the stock grip when they're available; but I'm not expecting to swap it anytime soon!
  22. Cent: On your 2011's, many have recommended Jason at Extreme Shooters to modify your current grip, or purchase new: https://www.extremeshooters.com/sti-grips/STI?limit=100
  23. Most companies refer to the grips as "polymer"........... Brownells description of the older Gen1 grip: https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/grip-parts/grips/2011-modular-grips-prod24672.aspx
  24. My Son inquired as to when the new Gen2, factory stock grip would be available for his new Staccato-P that came with the Costa/tree bark grip......received email from factory that they were still in "production" and he would send him one as soon as they were available. Pignato stated recently they decided to make some changes/updates after the feedback they received from SHOT Show.
