  1. Personally i think Garfield does prefer Italian girls, It can not be an accident that just after all the discissions about Italian girls Garfields gets himself a shotgun. He will be training in secret to get a slot for the European Shotgun Championship in Greece 2006. And the Greek girls resemble the Italian girls, at least in my opinion .
  2. Hi Luca, Since we are drifting on this thread, There should be more than one Irene's in Italy but do you mean the Irene that was also in the shoot-of at last Czech Euro Open? and then said : i am a bit nervous, all that people will look at me. and was silent when a surten GM asked surprised, do you have problems with that? Anyway, i wasn't at the ESC2003 but from what i read and hear it was great succes and you had a great part in that. Well done! Greetings Adrie
  3. Yes, Spook is THE wheelgunner of the Netherlands. But he man you called them damned poppers, you could almost haven beaten me at the stage with 6 poppers at 50 yards with your revolver. One shot, one hit, one down And i won that stage in standard And Garfield, good job on your first level III match, you look nice in your yellow (NROI) polo, maybe we should call you Tweety now Greetings Adrie

    Glock Grip?

Duck, i was thinking how the understand rtr's question and how to explain the answer. I think you have a good excercise there, i am gonna give it a try. Greetings Adrie
  5. Julien en Bob, i am glad to read that the forum also has members that are realistic about Eric's status. Eric is the worldchampion ! Greetings Adrie
  6. Welll Spook i don't know what you were doing different yesterday also but i noticed you were : - relaxed (after the first 15-20 shots we fired yesterday) - you were determined to break that 2.0 second barrier. That few weeks we missed you at the range worked well for you, welcome back! Adrie
  7. I think it is mentioned a lot before by others, but this is my way i handle bulged cases. Brassman's .40 brass is cheap. For me it's just a little les cheap because it has to be shipped overseas. First thing i do when i receive the package is decap and size all brass on my Hornady single stage press. Herefore i use the EGW U-die. After that i reload on a Dillon SD. I can't remember i ever run into problems. Brass that has been shot through my G35 with stockbarrel is resized on the EGW die. The brass i shot with the G35 with Barsto barrel will be reloaded directly on the Dillon. Greetings Adrie
  8. I think Klev has a good point there. My cartridges are 28.6 - 28.7 mm and i use Federal SP200 primers. The velocity of my bullets (180 grains) is fairly consistent and i use VV340. Greetings Adrie
  9. Nick i shoot at least 4 matches a year in Dusseldorf But i prefer shooting in Lauf, near Nurnberg, they have several level III matches a year. Check out http://www.ironhands.de/ Greetings Adrie
  10. You could ask your smith to do that job, i figure it should cost about $150,-
  11. I have 2 G35's i use for IPSCstandard. The oldest still has the stockbarrel, The youngest has a Barsto barrel. It was fitted by my regular gunsmith. He also shortened this barrel and gave it a target/match-crowning. The barrel was original a 5.5" one and therefore it had to be shortened. (gun has to fit the IPSCbox) My regular load's PF dropped from 174 - 178 to 169 - 173 Casesupport is so extreem that shot cases drop in the Dillon gauge without any problem, before sizing. I use the gun only for competition thusfar no problems. Greetings Adrie
  12. After trying to get some contact during the period from december last year until now without succes for me it has been enough. I don't need them. Adrie
  13. Julien, the way you describe the things that happened it seems you joined an entertainment showwith high entrence fee and to be attended at one's own risk. Is this the match you mentioned in earlier posts where your told that N340 give you to much difference in PF without reason and therefore you stopped using this powder? Greetings Adrie
  14. When you are already attending the match and shot some stages and then your gun is tested according the boxrule it should fit, with all your mags you used and are gonna use. If this it is not the case then you should be put in open division. If your gun and mags are tested before the match started, you didn't shot a stage yet, i think it is reasonable that you are allowed to fit your gear, e.g. discard 1 or 2 mags that don't fit. Thusfar i haven't shot a match were the boxrule was tested before starting the match, but always during chrono or random at a stage. I am always glad my gun fits in the used box at a match although i tested it in several available boxes at home. In my case the rearsight has to be put down to fit the box. I still remember one occasion very clearly. (I shot standard minor at that time) My standard mags fitted 18+1 round and with extension 20 or 21+1 My gun fitted the box with the extended mags but i changed my rearsight and had not tested afterwards. After the first stage my gun was put (not) in the box. Although it was a 16 rounds minimum all papertargets at max. 12 yards stage and i was willing to shoot the rest of the stages with standard mags i was put in open division. Greetings Adrie
  15. THE Tungsten guide rod with 15lbs ISMI spring. Only shooting major (IPSC) loads PF 176 - 180
  16. You are absolutely right on this subject Julien. It becomes a more personal thing indeed when the RO knows your first name and uses it. Reading your post i was thinking about last year when i was shooting level III match NRWtrophy in Germany. On one of the long courses we started with two targets at 25 yards that had to be shot through bars. At the moment of my last shot i knew there was something wrong . I left to early and didn't finish my last shot properly. When i finished the course i had a bad feeling. RO gives the holster command and starts scoring. At that moment the CRO puts his hand on my shoulder and says " Adrie i have to take you out of the match" It seemed it had hit the ceiling with the last shot i took through the bars. Well that was my first DQ. It was given in a personal way and that was a cold comfort Greetings Adrie
  17. Jeffro, i hope you SiG lady appreciates that. Good luck
  18. Well Bucky, i was one of the first (in europe) to use these followers. I used them in combination with the +3 (standard legal) extensions from Ralph. The extensions are great, if you stil got the stock sightes at your glock. After i got a bomarstyle rearsight melted in my gun didn't fit the box anymore. The followers i still use in combination with extensions from B-E Johnson. What i can tell, well.... they work. Haven't had any problems with them. Greetings Adrie
  19. It should be in that area, 4.8 grains N320, Federal SP200, 177 grain copperplated Frontier bullet, AOL 28.65 mm shot through my stockbarrel of the G35 gives me a 176 - 178 pf Btw, i use 5.45 N340 because i like it and trust it more. The brass i always resize with an EGW U-die. After 8 or 9 reloads i lose the brass,(a lot of no-brasspicking and outdoorshooting) About 20 out of thousand will be split by that time Greetings Adrie
  20. Glad to hear your experiences with the Barsto Nik and George. I could get my hands on a new 6" Barsto. It wil be fitted in my next G35 wich is almost ready But because i have to attend the boxrule my smith will also shorten it and give it a targetcrowning too Can't wait to use this new gun.... Btw did anyone of you notice significant difference in measured pf. In my current G35 with stockbarrel i have a nice shooting recipe that gives me a nice 176pf Can i expect a higer or lower pf if shot through the Barstobarrel? Greetings Adrie
  21. Yes tightloop, therefore i just got my 3rd glock, in .40 with stock barrel, but i still can not spell it. And don't know how it sounds or looks. My first worths were RELOAD WELL and i never came further. Adrie

    G34

Do you have any experience with other glocks, and what connector did they have? Otherwise it is hard for you to know how it should feel. If it's a 3.5 lbs connector it will feel like that 3.5 lbs connector in that set up. Maybe ADJ is about your sights, that's logical to me. Because i am an IPSCshooter i can not tell you much about the IDPA but first check out if it is legall to change the things you are planning. Good luck with the G34 Adrie
  23. Folow up on Even as a non-USshooter - done the Helmut Schwaiger Challenge - 3 rd Iron Hand match in may - Czech Nationals - Czech Euro Open - higly preferable French Nationals Standard/Revolver - Dutch Open - 3rd Iron Hands Autumn match - NRW trophy And ofcourse about 16 level II matches in the Netherlands and Germany
  24. My formula.... 115 grain H&N highspeed bullet sizing .356 5.4 grain VV 3N37 Federal SP200 OAL 28.8 mm Tapercrimp In my G34 this gives a 126 pf With 5.8 grain VV3N37 pf = 136 Greetings Adrie
  25. Jim, i tried the 9 mm follower in my trouble .40 glock mag. The only thing i learnt was that it was the spring in my .40 mag that particular mag giving the trouble. (i do use +2 extensions from B-E Johnson in combination with Arredondo extra strength spring) I will look after the use of 9 mm followers with other mag in the future. Because i live in europe for me it is more easy to just buy another high cap mag (±$15.00) rather then to spent effort in trying to solve the problem. But sometimes it is challeging and fun to solve problems. DVC Adrie
