  1. I got the message from IROA-HQ i am selected to assist at the match as RO. Looking forward to see many of you at this great and wonderful event Greetings Adrie
  2. I was glad to read i had been put on the list to join the staff for this US IPSC Nationals. It will be my first IPSC handgun match to work in the USA and i am looking forward to see a lot familiar and new friendly faces. Greetings Adrie
  3. When looking at the results of level IV and V matches it comes in mind Finland just simply has the best shooters of the world when it comes to long guns
  4. The match is over. For me it was a bit strange to attend a 6-day mainmatch WorldShoot and not being able to be there earlier 1 day before start and having to leave few hours after the last shot. Stil it was a pleasure to attend. Results for me are according what could be expected taking in account the bumpy road towards this event. I am happy with the results but will compete for a better ranking next time. Greetings Adrie Unofficial results http://www.makeready.info/match_results/i-ipsc-shotgun-championship-2012/?mode=overall while we wait for the results to show up at the official webpage http://shotgunworld-hungary.com/
  5. LOL, your top guys ought to know the beer in Hungary is cheaper, like in Czech last weekend No doubt Finland has great shooters and it is always a pleasure to watch or join them! Estonia match will be great i am sure, some of my friends will go. Cheers Adrie
  6. Hi Taisto, last weekend we had a kinda "matchtest" of the personal challenge the TS posted. During the CESO 2012 http://www.puskaslovesz.hu/s/main.php?gr= at stage 10. Start position, standing on a small platform (about 11/2 foot width, 3 foot long) hanging on chains. (very woblie!) Shotgun option 3 held in both hands, stock touching hip and ofcourse triggerguard downwards. 4 plates (2 leftside of bay, 2 rightside of bay) in the backstop 3 minipoppers standing between and besides no-shoot poppers. Distances about 8 - 15 meters. Basicaly all competitors loaded 8 rounds. Fasted three times on that stages: Standard : 8.39, 8.96, 9.05 Modified : 9.05, 9.24, 9.59 Standard Manual : 8.08, 9.03, 9.72 ( that was me ) If estimate the time needed to shoot the targets, splits&transitions you can calculate the loading times. Btw, top 3 didnt include finish shooters but ofcourse not all of your topboys were there See you soon (Bulgaria Rifle??) Greetings Adrie
  7. Got your PM Sounds good, lets discus tactics and the WS shotgunteams over dinner. Leaving for LV tomorrow Cheers
  8. We need to have a chat over a beer at Shot
  9. Are you mindf#cking Taisto? I will be at the WS anyway If the development of new loading techniques in Finland was initiated by the new SG-rules at least there is one positive side to them Now you better keep it secret! Greetings Adrie
  10. Yeps Taisto, i know you have to make choices and sometimes thats hard. When using my chestrigs i could easily take down a second, but alas.... I would also be happy to give in one second on my reloading if that improved my shooting (hitting ;-) ) Thusfar the plan is to shoot the mainmatch at the WS but i will try watching you at the prematch. Greetsz Adrie Adrie We have 2 competitors in our family shooting with both rifle and SG. You know how much that will cost to travel both Championship matches, European and WS. That's the reason I won't shoot any other international matches this year except Estonia Open Rifle in July and perhaps Swedish/Nordic Championship Rifle Match. You reload looks good but you need to cut down one more second. Our fastest guys are loading with strong hand. If you are shooting on pre match on WS maybe we can shoot on same squad.
  11. My friend did put a small vid online I carry the '2load' belt completely at waistlevel.
  12. Yep, 9 competitors from Finland but i miss your name on the list, again... ;-) But you will be there in september ofcourse! Greetings Adrie
  13. I am not using the Chameleon belt but thats indeed one thing that could improve this product. Greetings Adrie Our guys are making couple secret items for the WS (based on the new IPSC rules). Wait and see. Is there a previeuw on those items during CESO2012?
  14. I am not using the Chameleon belt but thats indeed one thing that could improve this product. Greetings Adrie
  15. There are no comp or ports on my SG's but i sure hope and do believe common sense will prevail on this issue. Greetings Adrie
  16. Few days ago we did a few runs overhere too because next year we are not allowed to use your chestrigs anymore. SG (Nova) option 3 hold both hands, stock touching hip. Shells on alike a load 2 system Load 8 and fire 1 round at A4 target at 10 yards. We made 5.2 - 5.4 with an Alpha hit. 4.5 must be do-able after some training again. Greetings Adrie
  17. Greetings Joe, after a few weeks on the road we arrived home last night and i believe i felt more or less the same as you looked when you first dropped in at the hotel in Debrecen ;-) On monday we drove the 900 km to Oparany and tuesday and wednesday we helped out the organisation with stage building. Maybe not the best preparation for a match but somebody has to do it. I am sure you would have liked the stages in Czech too. When comparing the top 10 in standard manual of both matches you see the russian guy did pretty well. Taken in account the circumstances i aint unhappy with the results but for sure some training is required for next year WS! I am afraid everybody will do some extra effort though. It will be an interesting shooting year, no doubt. 18. Well i never shot a load-one-shoot-one courses of fire thusfar and i did do some matches already in Europe, it is more a standard excercise that may be incorperated in level I or II matches but not in a level III match or higher. For sure there are preferences about COF in different countries for reasons ranging from cultural background, historical heritage or available ranges and and equipment. The IPSCrules dictate unloaded starts to be limited at a sanctioned match. You should not find more then 1 unloaded start per 6 stages in a match. I remember Whiskey1's comment about the stages at last 2nd CESO shotgun match in Hungary that the stages looked a lot like the SG stages he used to find in multigunmatches. To answer the topicstarter, there are not really typicaly "shotgun clubs" in Europe. What we do have are shooting clubs active in IPSC and depending on the interest of the members and possibilities they are active in either handgun, shotgun, rifle or all IPSC disciplines. Lasts year Panam SG level IV in Kentucky was a great match shot under IPSCrules btw. Greetings Adrie
  19. Joe, Janssen it was great to see you and all others that could make the trip to the Hungarian match. You both showed some good shooting! It was not easy to stay ahead of you. I am sure with the info you gathered at this trip you will only improve more. I am in Czech at the moment and internet acces is limited. Just finished shooting the 16 stages prematch for the CNCtournament and we gonna work at the mainmatch this WE. Greetings Adrie
  20. I wish the USA competitors on this match a smooth flight and trip to Hungary. For myself it will also be first time shooting on this range. Lets hope for a fun time and good learning experience for upcoming WS SG. Gonna leave for Debrecen by car in a few days now. If the weather forecast could change a bit all would be OK. Greetings Adrie
  21. Would be great to have you coming over in July. For sure some interesting matches to shoot that time and they can be combined easy. Greetings Adrie
  22. For those who are interested ; 2th juli 2011 will be the second Central-European Shotgun Open. It will be held at the location for WS SG1 20 stages and some 320 rounds http://www.puskaslovesz.hu/ If you want to shoot some more on this trip ; One week later at 9th juli will be Czech Nationals Shotgun in Oparany (CNC tournament part II) 16 stages and some 220 rounds website not up yet http://leiko.powernet.cz/ (prematch 7th and 8th juli most likely will have slots free too) Greetings Adrie
  23. Good choice Jesse! Most likely in 2011 there will be the second edition of the Central-European Shotgun Open at the Debrecen range. I missed it this year but from my german, italian and serbian friends i heard they were impressed and will be back with and already planned to come back next year with a larger group of shooters. With 20 stages it should be worthwhile a visit and most likely a combination with another match is possible. Lets keep an eye on next years agenda when it fills up and dates are known. Greetings Adrie
