  1. Had the same problem with the 147gr...Something changed with the lead density or platting...I changed nothing, just a new batch of bullets and had 1 out 10 tumble, my fix was to loosen the crimp a bit more and I am back to normal..I had loaded 3k with zero problem using mixed brass.
  2. They suck, the shop bought 100k of them when there was a primer shortage! If you have stock gun they run fine but non of the gun with a nice trigger job would run them..
  3. reloaded 1000 40's on a number 5 shell plate...Do it all the time and my 1050 is connected to a mark7 system..
  4. The guys have sent me a filter for my case feeder...Trouble shot mine the other day...Had the same problem plus my unit rebooting...Started feeding rounds manually into the case feeder tube and no problem..I guess my 10yr old case feeder is noisy.
  5. Well I have had the Mark 7 running for 2 days and I love it. Scott thanks for the help with the 38 comp set up
  6. I shoot almost the same thing....Bayou Bullet 105gr with 2.6gr of clays....680fps....about 71pf....
  7. One thing I learned, my wife's Open gun scared the crap out of RO's the first time it fired!...lol
  8. What a great match, I had a boat load of fun with our squad!!! Didn't do as well as I hoped, but first big match since 2007....Tracy and I will be back next yr!!! Great stages with NO traps!!! The RO's and Scoring crew were awesome.....Annette Aysen did a killer job as Match Director!!!! Most fun I have had shooting in a long time!
  9. I have a chain drive system and love it...Yes I can reload just as fast on my other 1050 man doing 100 rounds...But I load for 3 and a normal run is 2000 and I also have a bad shoulder. Autodrive saves me!
  10. Some of you all know my daughter Shea from when she was young shooting Open Class and Sportsmans Team challenge on Team Smith and Wesson with Lena...Well in 2007 she hung up pistol for the world of Sporting clays...I think she just wanted her own game and not what Mom and Dad did...She has done an awesome job since then in her clay shooting career,,,,Has won more shoots than Mom and Dad and her resume is pretty impressive...2015 her shooting has even jumped up to a new level, not able to shoot many of the NSCA because of school and her commitment to Texas A&M shooting team.. She has won a number of the Collegiate shoots, not just lady but the HOA.. In March she won the ACUI Collegiate Nationals overall lady's title...Am Skeet, Am Trap, Int Skeet, Int Trap, 5 stand and Sporting Class...She also pulled off 2 event wins. She once again made the USA Helice Team and will be shooting in Italy in August...But the suprise came at the North American Helice Championship this past weekend in Dallas. Shea became the First Lady to WIN High Overall at a World Level shoot...It was the largest field of ZZ shooters in North America.. 2015 has been good so far....A Sr with 3.5 gpa Business Major, Gets her AGGIE Ring in Sept, Major shooting wins and got proposed to and said yes!!!! He is national level sporting shooter...He also started his year out good with an A-class win at the 2014 NSCA Nationals iin the Main Event..
  11. Signed up my my wife and I at 6:01pm say "Thank you for registering for the 2015 Louisiana Gator Classic" I have not got a second email saying that we have been approved, is that only after payment?
  12. I have both and it is the same...I use a ton for shotgun and 45acp...
  13. While I have never shot the m3000, I would be looking at the 1301, my wife is very recoil sentive and we have found the 1301 to be very soft. Not as soft as a versamax, but is doesn't come close to the weight....The gun is race ready out of the box, all that is needed is a tube. Also the stock length is very short without the spacers installed.
  14. Welcome, what part of south Texas are you from? I am in Edinburg.
  15. Dillon changed the slide out free of charge, they knew there was a problem.
  16. I ran into this problem a year ago when I used fed or cci primers for cowboy loads. I tried everything to fix it, ended up I had to back to win primers and they won't work in my wife cowboy pistols. I happen to be on another forum and someone was having the same problem...The fix for him was replacing the primer slide 20317!! I have had my 1050 since 2003 and never had any problems, but I only used win primers. I contact Dillon told them what was going on, they sent me a new one and life has been grand ever since. Works with every primer I have thrown at it. Side note the slide bar was upgraded a couple of years back by Dillon to fix this problem.
  17. My wife should be at 2k with hers by 2nd week in april.
  18. My wife loves her Whiskey Arms aluminum low mass BCG..
  19. Oh open class here I come...Thank goodness
  20. Don't do it...once you buy one you have to have 2 then you put a chain drive on it and now you think you need one more...So you sell your Snap-On tool box and go for a 3rd!
