  2. Steve i shot Single Stack...Tracy shot open!
  3. Well it happened, Tracy and I were at one of our daughters many sporting clay shoots in Dallas. We decided that we needed to go shoot one of the local matches in the Dallas area. Started out by facebook'ing one of our friends Carina B and finding out if there were any shoots this weekend. Think goodness there was a match in Johnson county about 75 miles south of the Sporting Clays range. Left Shea at the range with the motor home, dogs and the clay cart! Said good luck, but Mom and I have to go back to our world!!!!!!! Tracy and I had the talk before we got there, shoot slowly and get your hits and have fun!!! The buzzer went off I shot a slow and conservative stage 1, Tracy on the other hand went full throttle and had 4 mike’s but it sounded awesome. Tracy had not forgot how to pull the trigger after 2 years out of the game…One of the funny things said by some of the people that had never seen us before was holy crap this was not her first rodeo!!! After she gone done Tracy was walking back telling Carina that she was out of control, the gun was out of control and she never had a sight picture. Stage 2 was slower and clean!!! Guys the bottom line is Tracy and I had a load of fun and finished toward the bottom of the pack! I would like to thank Carina for the info! Now to find a shoot around the SA area at the end of the month during the NSCA nationals….
  4. Jamie, I will be at STC.....No dought!
  5. Going to shoot my first local match in almost 2 years! Feeling like I need to dryfire! Tracy and I are looking at getting back into shooting small stuff around Texas....Our life has been hectic the last couple of years with another shooting sport, but our love is in pistol. My daughter is moving up the ranks quickly at major tournaments and Shea truly loves the world of shotgun (Sporting Clays)…But I miss IPSC and so does Tracy! So while Tracy takes Shea to the US Open for Sporting Clays in Mississippi this week I am playing with the Open Gun!!!! Always wanted to see Shea make master class(in pistol)but it looks like she will make master in shotgun this year! Thats cool too!
  6. Her main open has not been shot in 2 years, her 9mm steel gun still gets used for Sportsmans Team Challange....She still loves steel shooting!!!
  7. thanks everyone.....Steve I always wanted her go far in pistol shooting, but it was not in the cards! She loves the world of shotgun!!!!
  8. Today a small blurb was released about my daughter coming on board with Blaser shotguns....Picked up her new F3 Luxus yesterday from Blaser-usa....they are a great group of people! http://internationalsportingclays.com/inde...self-on-blaser/
  9. Guys please take a look at Comp-n-chokes...Shea has been using them for about 6 months in her DT-10 and loves them.....We have done a pattern test and they are a lot cleaner than the factorys!!!! Have not tried brileys yet! Her new Blaser will have brileys!
  10. Shea had an interview with Blaser during the Sporting Clays nationals and I would like to say it was done on her own. They told her to put a resume together and send it to them, a little over a month and half passed and they called last friday and welcomed her to the team. She is going up in January to get fitted to her new F3 Blaser 30" sporting pro-comp shotgun...I have never seen a kid so happy!!!! She worked for it and now knows she has to continue to strive for the win. Some of her goals for 2010 is All American and getting into AA-Class this year! I feel just fine in D-class!!!!!
  11. Guys, it's taken me a week to recover from a week of shooting......I was a Mega proud Dad this past week at the Sporting Clays Nationals in San Antonio, Tx....My daughter has been really pushing herself for the past 4 months and it all paid off....She sweep 3 of the 4 events she entered! It was a complete class win not just ladies or sub-jr's she took it all! I have to say the girls walked away with a lot of the men asking what happen!!!!! One of Shea friends (another 14 yr) named Jenni Clark walked away with HOA 20ga sporting, its the first time in the history of the NSCA that a women HOA'd a national event! Shea walk to the podium 3 times that night.......Her Team (Target Line shooting Schools) had 7 podium's plus the HOA of the nationals Gebben Miles, he is a first class kid and great friend to our family! It was a 14 yr road for him to get here! here is the link to the scores: How many IPSC shooter can you find???? http://wyshotgun.com/nationals.html
  12. Both my cars got broken into last night. Most they got was our shotgun bag that had every briley and comp-n-choke you could own for 5 shotguns......total of 36 chokes.....shooting glasses, wife's vest and 2 flats of shells!!! But they were nice enough to leave my 30" browning sporting O/U laying on the floor in the back seat!!!! Yea could not see that all black gun in the night!!! I know I should have had the gear out of the car. We bought take out food and i was bringing it inside while my wife got her shotgun and some other stuff out! oh well! The real pisser was they got my Ohler35 chrono! assholes!

  15. Just got a txt from Shea, she shot a 67 in prelims today in AZ... Solid score, same prelim score from the Texas championship....She said she was upset because of the 67 but her coach was pumped up because she is now shooting consistent.....
  16. Shea left this afternoon with her coach(Steve Schultz) for the AZ.....She is getting to stay with a great Family in AZ, (Miles Family)Tim Miles is the setter for this tournament and his Son (Gebben Miles)is also a great Sporting clay shooter and coach. Good luck to Team Target Line Shooting Schools!!!! www.targetlineshooting.com
  17. Shea won E-Class at the Texas State FITASC championship at Fossil Pointe last weekend. She was also runner up in the e-class sporting main and PreLim. I still wish she loved pistol as much as shotgun!

  19. Godspeed Cheryl!!! Tracy and I bought our first STI's from her. I remember she gave Tracy her gun at almost cost just so we would see more girls out shooting.
  20. Shea broke her first 25 straight in Trap at the Texas 4H state games.....shot a 25-23-23 2nd lady overall after the shoot off.....and in the top 10 overall out of 200
